Love This Restaurant!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I was really looking forward to it. We came for lunch. Food was average. I ordered the choripan sandwich. One small chorizo cut in half for such a big sandwich. I asked if I could order an extra chorizo on the side and was told no. We also ordered the Bife de chorizo a la Provenzal, asked for the steak medium, it arrived rare. They did take it back and cook it some more but then it was overcooked. They did take the sandwich off the bill. Service was good. The food was not.

A lovely setting to enjoy some very good food. I tried their signature sandwich, the Chivito al Pan ($22), which comes with fries. Steak, ham, bacon, egg, mozzarella, red bell peppers, onions, olives, and lettuce and tomato all piled up and absolutely delicious. Currently not open for lunch every day. Close to the Phillips and Dupont Circle Metro.

The chivito is amazing. The Argentinian asado (ribs) as well. They come with a big side of fries. Very good mojito! 🙂

A very nice restaurant with Uruguayan cuisine dishes mainly. This is mainly an Uruguayan restaurant and they also have some dishes and drinks from other Latin American countries. Excellent food quality and prices. The place is busy on weekends. Totally recommend it. Literally any dish is worth trying. They have nice grill dishes too.

Good food and very good service – I got the tostones and Milanesa al Plato. Both were good, but not extraordinary. The restaurant looks nice inside.

Great place and we will go back. Ordered the breaded steak and eggs. Very good. In fact I began eating before I remembered to take a picture!
