They offer a unique selection of both Mexican and Mediterranean food and both were delicious and flavorful. Generous quantities at decent prices. The service was friendly and efficient. They are located right in the mix of downtown Del Mar on Camino Del Mar. The chicken kabob and shredded chicken enchiladas were amazing. They are pet friendly.

You may wonder about a Mediterranean/ Mexican menu, but you won’t be disappointed! This family owned and operated business is a great choice. We tried the chicken pita and fries – chicken and fries were cooked perfectly. We also had the shrimp tacos with rice and beans which was just as good. Their salsa is fresh and spicy, very tasty and all good portions.

I recently visited the “Deal Mar Seaside Grill” with my kids, and unfortunately, the owner was very rude to us as soon as we walked in. She seemed annoyed that we had children with us and made it clear that we were not welcome. This behavior made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout our meal. She told my wife to take our daughter outside because she was crying.

It was my first and definitely last time; They are the most expensive tacos in California. I ordered one of fish and one of meat….when they arrived at my table; the tortillas were cold, the tiny piece of fish horribly fried and dry, and the meat overcooked. It’s a shame for Mexican food

Service here is really rude. My partner went to get board and brew while I ordered here, I was sitting in the outdoor seating waiting for my food and he came to eat his food and enjoy lunch with me. He started eating and the waitress came over and told him he had to leave if he was going to eat other food here. He offered to order something on their menu so he could stay and be with me, I’m currently suffering from an injury and I’m disabled so he did not want me to be alone. She told him “This is not the beach. You need to leave. We have food here.” She was INSANELY rude about it and didn’t even politely ask him to leave. I changed my order from dine in to takeout because I did not want to sit there and deal with the service. I’ve never had such rude service somewhere, especially not somewhere I’m paying over $20 for a plate of food. Regret ever coming here. Other patrons in the restaurant were so confused and were making faces like the server was being embarrassingly rude. Meanwhile the woman at the register would not stop glaring at me even after my partner left with his food and I was waiting for mine.
