We got takeout to eat in the neighboring brewery. They offer easy ordering via two kiosks. The brisket sandwich was excellent; tender & the sauce wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. I gave the fried mac & cheese balls a chance – they were ok, slightly gimmicky. In the future, my preference would just be normal mac & cheese.

Ordered from door dash and I usually give leeway to quality when I order on door dash… but I don’t think it was a door dash issue. The meat was tough and dry. I got the brisket platter. The coleslaw was hot. Potato wedges were burnt and soggy. The only good thing was the corn bread. Not to mention after a few hours of eating this meal I got the worst stomach ache cramping. I never have stomach issues, my stomach is strong. Who knows maybe it would have been worse for the average person. But for me it was out of the ordinary and the only thing I could attribute it to was this meal. Also I eat barbecue all the time…. I go to different places all over the country to try it and this has been the worst experience so far. Never had a bad experience before. Maybe go here to get your food fresh, maybe it will be better then. But if you don’t want to take a chance I promise there are way better barbecue restaurants.

The food was amazing, some of the best BBQ around the city. Down to earth customer service and cleanliness was on point! Super big parking lot made even it better! Free popcorn was on point after a few drinks.

I had the bar b que beef brisket Excellent. The pulled pork, Excellent. Their mixed drinks are watered down. Don’t do it. I don’t like beer so I don’t have any. One thing missing was and Ale.

The food was good! I had the wings. You could tell they were smoked, the skin had a nice snap to them. Also had the texas mud loaded wedges with brisket. It was great. They didn’t have any ribs. Place had a nice atmosphere. Will be back. Hopefully they’ll have ribs!

They got parking. Share a space with the brewery. Good food but there were out of most stuff when I was there so I had to settle. Big screens at the bar and quick service.

This place is sort of in the hood. It’s very nice to see an integrated and interracial crowd. The barbecue and sides are fantastic. They also have a nice selection of craft beer on draft and in bottles or cans. This is my second visit, I really enjoyed the food, the conversation, and the fact that it is the official LaSalle explorers basketball bar. If you have the opportunity to go I highly recommend it.

Picked up a to go order brisket and collards. Very disappointed brisket was all fat no meat and the collards were under cooked. Never had any problems with my food. Very disappointed. Collards usually have sweet / heat it was just heat and the little meat I had has No flavor .

I have ordered here once before and it wasn’t so bad. Today I ordered take out and it came pretty quickly, even though I just ordered some sides. Now I don’t really go out of my way to write a detailed review but this was a little upsetting of an experience. I ordered food from the kiosk because that’s how you do take out. I tried to pay for my food on the kiosk but it wouldn’t take my card. I tried to pay at the bar, I got the caucasian gentlemans attention, he even asked if i paid at the kiosk but while I was in the middle of talking to him, he literally turned away and completely ignored me. I thought that was a kind of rude. I finally got help. Now when I was about to eat, there is just no flavor, no soul, or any love put into this food. I’m not trying to say how they should season but some seasoning would be appreciated. The potato salad was dry, it was just about room temperature but I guess not that bad. I mean for the price I had to pay for just sides, I was hoping for a nice taste but honestly was dissatisfied.

My sister’s and I were at the Attic Brewery for a party. We come here from time to time, and we finally decided to get something to eat from Deke’s, it’s always smelling so good. I purchased the chopped chicken cheese steak, with no bbq sauce, cheese sauce and fried onions. My sister’s got the brisket cheese steak, french fries and corn bread. There was no seasoning at all, so the sandwiches were very bland, also the chicken wasn’t chopped it was chunky pieces, the fries were cold and dried up, the corn bread wasn’t bad…..but it had raisins in it….it was definitely something very chewy and sweet inside of the corn bread, I think it should be added to the menu what the corn bread consist of…that there’s raisins in the corn bread. Very disappointed my sister’s and I were, being as though this was our first time purchasing food from this establishment.
