Food was great. Stuffed shells and meatball. The meatball was big and juicy.

This is probably some of the best food I have had in a long time. Certainly the best food I’ve had in the area. would highly recommend! This is also the biggest meatball I have literally ever seen – wasn’t even over cooked. SUPERB!!! Will be dining in next time!!!

The place doesn’t look like much but the food and service were absolutely wonderful. One of our group wasn’t feeling well and Christa went out of her way to make him feel better. We were in town for the Farm Festival and we’re looking forward to returning.

As an entry level food critic I don’t have the most exquisite pallet, so this review is for the average food eater. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, small hole-in-the-wall type feel, however, there is a subtle undertone seeping out of not quite right as there are roku tv’s at the booths. The service was good. The food was good if you aren’t paying attention. However, if you are looking for an stupendously prepared meal, avoid dejohns. Definitely worth at least one visit, would not recommend exceeding 2 visits.

This place has been open and active for longer than I’ve been alive most likely. Absolutely refuses to join the rest of the world and take credit cards… In the grand scheme unimportant but really that bank fee could go to the servers. They are prep cooking your pasta and keeping it in giant tubs to scoop out hence why its always watery. Would be fine except the entire place is coated in dust as old as the curled picture of Frank Sinatra (who wouldnt drink the water if he was still with us) gross i can only imagine what’s in there hours later.Just an all around bummer however, they did put a table over 3 vents so if you wanna freeze your buns off and look like Marilyn Monroe while you eat mid pasta in an old folks home. You got it here.

Exceptional food for a great value. 6 of us with drinks, main course and desserts for just over $100! With left overs enough for another meal for half of us. It’s our go to spot every time we visit Fredonia.

DeJohn’s is a great place for a good diner at very affordable prices. Very casual. The chicken parm is huge. I always have leftovers for lunch. I always have good service. Our server Brook is great.

When we saw the outside we were sceptical. Reading the story of the restaurant gave us hope to have an original Italian experience. It was not. The eggplant parmigiana was loaded with spaghetti for a weekly portion and the taste was boaring. The calamari appetizer was delicious . The side salads missed a lot of love . Our friend liked the desserts.

Matt and I had large pepperoni cheese pizza with five medium fingers. Appetizer of crab stuffed mushrooms. Excellent service and meal was great. Definitely took big take home box. Also couldn’t resist tiramisu and cannoli to go both very good. I was good and tried a bite. Yes we were out to eat
