For years we have dreamed of combining our love of beer, food, and Maine’s iconic mountain region. On December 26, 2021 we opened Definitive Brewing Company featuring the Phoenix Kitchen just a few hundred feet from the South Ridge base lodge at Sunday River Resort. Whether it’s après ski, après golf, or après mountain adventure, we are the go-to place for craft beer and delicious American-style cuisine.

Loving this new place, we have been several times now without disappointment. The staff is friendly, the selection of beers they brew and have is great, the food is always great especially the pub fries mmhmm… They have arcade games, live music, and love that it has two floors in case one is too busy. We had Aaron as our bartender and what a great personality! He made our experience all the better which his natural candor! The food was delicious and presented well! We had the spinach artichoke dip, steak and contee beer cheese sandwich and a side of salt and vinegar fries of to which I would recommend all of the above. Dont fear the phoenix sauce- its delicious spicy creamy goodness! In addition the view was literally breathtaking! I will definitely make this a destination to go to. Oh and the beverage I had one completely non alcoholic blueberry iced tea! My best friend was drinking sours and loved them! Absolutely Fantastic and will definitely be back!

We just tried this place on a whim to get out of the house. And it ended up being one of my absolute favorite breweries in the area! The burger was PHENOMENAL as was the Robin Stout,and IPA! Definitely making this a place we go back to!

Beer is fantastic, they also have a selection of yummy specialty mixed drinks! Our food was super yummy. We had the Brewer Fries and wings for an app would highly recommend both. For entrees we did the Steak N Cheese and Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both super delicious and quality food. Also had lunch with my daughter one day during vacation, I had the seared Haddock Sandwich and it was a 10 of 10!!

What can I say!! We brought a party of 15 last night with no notice and the magic act put on by a staff of two to serve us was incredible in the face of a busy night..I’ve never seen anything like it – and I’ve worked in the service industry. My hats off to you guys working calmly through this last night it was an unbelievable effort to keep everything moving in an efficient manner. Food was quite good regardless of the circumstances! Well done from the gang from Nova Scotia. We will be back.

This place has a super cute back yard/patio. The food is a little bit pricey, but I quite enjoyed everything I ordered. I tried a capris l variety of beers and I actually liked them all! Our waitress was really friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back here.
