First off, best fries I’ve ever had. Strawberry milkshake was the PERFECT consistency, and they used real strawberries. The secret sauce they use in the “everything dog” had just a tiny bit of heat to it, and was absolutely delicious. The open-sliced hot dogs on the double was so filling. 10/10

Second time coming here food was very delicious. Customer service was excellent. I even ordered a pilly classic cheese stake with fried onions and mushrooms it was very delicious. I recommend the spot if you’re in the area or location for a authentic cheesesteak.

I’ve worked in the same shopping center as Deerhead for many years. Never used to go there much until here recently. The husband who also works in the shopping center has recently been bringing home tuna subs. Not just good tuna subs but great tuna subs. We’ve really been enjoying these.

This Deerhead is nothing like its other location. I ordered a footlong hot dog, honestly it was one of the worst hot dogs I ever had. The dog was old and was definitely re-heated, it also smelled bad. The bun was stale, as an employee of the doghouse this is disgraceful to the realm of hot dogs. Obviously they have a young samurai working the grill.

I love this place, fun old school vibe. They were nice enough to give me some ‘special sauce’ to put on my CS. The sauce had a nice kick. The Cheesesteak was average/above average. I loved the roll. The meat was very good. I would have liked more meat. I like my cheese melted into the meat.

I could tell this place was gonna be legit just from looking at the 50s style sign in the parking lot. Inside, mid century lunch counter/cafeteria vibes. I didn’t get a hot dog, which is their main thing, but a few of my friends did and seemed to enjoy. I opted for a steak sam with fried onions and hot peppers. It was very good. I don’t eat cheese and a lot of times places will give you some dry a$$ bullsh*t if you abstain from the cow goo, but not here. Roll was on point with a slight chewiness and there was a good heat ratio with the hot peps they used. The fries were crispy and plentiful, and their signiture sauce was solid pairing – it is orange, meat based, and zesty. Its not a chili-dog-like sauce, but not a micky D’s mac sauce style affair either. Verdict: This place is a

I’m originally from Georgia and it was like stepping in to a down home diner. This is my boyfriend’s favorite restaurant. He’s been going since he was a child and he shared it with me. I can definitely see why. I don’t normally like hot dogs but these were great.

It’s hard to find a good hot dog with kraut these days. But plenty of options here.

I love stopping in here. I’ve been coming here off and on since the late 80s / early 90s. Stopping in the other night I got an extra bonus when I found that a friend I grew up with is working there. Great food, drinks (sodas, milkshakes, etc), and service.
