Decaro’s serves up some delicious St Louis style pizza in Alton. It is a 5 minute longer drive to pick-up my carry-out, but it is worth the extra short distance.

Found this restaurant on Google and decided why not. Lots of table seating available, as well as a small bar seating area. Design of the restaurant is unique due to its diamond shape interior with seating starting in the front as soon as you enter and wrapping around to the left. Small adult game area in close proximity to the bar, TV’s, and bathroom. We ordered 2 Boscoe sticks, The Frank, and 2 small salads. The pizza sauce was outstanding! I found the salami to be slightly overpowering flavor wise, but it was still good. I wish the Boscoe sticks came in a bundle instead of $1.99 per stick, but man were they good. Service was friendly and attentive. Food arrived fresh and hot. Limited beer options on tap, but loved trying the local craft beer. We’ll definitely be back.

Late lunch on a Sunday. No waiting for a table. We had a side salad, risotto balls, and the Frank pizza. The food was great. The pizza is St Louis style, and baked and cut square. Worth a try.

Excellent service. Had not been in years. Menu expanded and offered so many choices for every palette. Peyton was sweet. Draft Blue Moon was icing on the cake. Visited with a friend and was not rushed. Saw many friends enjoying the pizza. Will have to try on my return visit.

First time we’ve been here since it’s been “Decaro’s.” Same great atmosphere, pizza was very good, and staff was great. We were in a hurry, trying to make movie, and the server rushed our order in the kitchen so we could make our movie on time. Very much appreciated, we will be back, and will tell our friends and family too!

Absolutely delicious! My wife and I tried this place and loved everything. Spinach artichokes ravioli, the house salad dressing is incredible. And of course the cheese bread and pizza were on point!

Food was barely warm. Not fresh tasting. Waitress was friendly and nice. We ordered ice tea and it was water with a hint of tea. Food wasn’t horrible but I wouldn’t go back again while I was here on vacation.

The staff are very polite and also courteous too. Today my mother and I dined there for lunch. The club sandwich with fries were absolutely delicious. I enjoyed them immensely. My mom had a salad and said it was really good. And upon leaving as my mom was paying for our meals at the register… Two people came up the employee and demanded she come take their order. I honestly felt really bad for her. They could’ve politely waited until she was finished with us. There was no reason for those customers to be rude. I told this employee that I hope she has a much better day. And then she said thank you! I do not get why customers just seem to think they can be rude and absolutely snotty. I’m glad things didn’t get ugly. Decaro’s is a safe dining establishment. But those who choose their behavior should be made to leave. Those employees don’t deserve to be treated rudely. I appreciate these hardworking employees always!
