We took a staycation in the area and decided to check out the place because the kitchen was open late. So glad we came in! Parking was easy. Location is right by the river. We were immediately greeted by the bartender, Laura. We told her we were visiting and she rolled out the welcome wagon. She told us about all the local fun things to do. She gave us a history of the town. We tried the special burgers, fries, macaroni salad, onion rings, chili, and cheesecake. Everything tasted amazing! I thought for being a little bar it might just be frozen pizzas or that everything would just be greasy. Instead everything was seasoned and presented well and the drinks were great! We had some fun cocktails. The other customers were friendly and engaging. Laura told us the history of the bar and it’s owners. It’s great to see a place with so much heart and history. Visit on a Friday when Laura is there she is so great. I tried to tip her a lot for her hospitality and she didn’t want to take it all (we snuck it back to her anyway ) the music was also fun – 80s rock. Prices were very reasonable. The kitchen staff was also really fun. Cheesecake is from a local baker and it was ridiculously good. Thanks for the great time! We will definitely be back!

Just a regular bar that serves good food. Clean place, nice waitress. I never get out that way, but if I ever do, i would stop back in for sure.

Pizza was pretty darn good, and the owner’s are super friendly and welcoming . Right next to the beautiful Fox River . You can place an order and pull up in your boat right off the river and park at the dock. You can do the same if you want to eat in .

This place isn’t bad, Italian beef was good, wings are good but I had ordered a hot dog and that was just gross. I tried picking it up and the bun fell apart. It looked like the hot dog had been in the microwave too long and it was all crispy burnt. No hot dog should ever look like this however the service was great, she seemed sympathetic and gave us some money back so we can’t be too upset about it.
