That chicken fried steak tho!!! It was gigantic and i love how they put the gravy on the bottom so it stays crisp. The mac n cheese, broccoli rice n cheese, mashed potatos and fries were all hot and delicious. The rolls were on point!!! Tommy did a great job keeping up with the boys drinking there drinks so fast. Also the onion rings were perfectly crisp with a soft onion. Great spot to come for a hearty meal!

The Liver and Onions only had one thing wrong with it. It was salty enough to make your tongue burn. The potatoes were ice cold and the vegetables were supper soggy.

Service was awesome!! Lady serving us was so nice!!! Now the food on the other hand was terrible. Bacon on burger burnt. Chicken fried steak was one of the saltiest steaks ever. Meat in the chicken fried steak was super thin.

this is my second or third visit. the place itself is not memorable. it’s a comfortable yet unimpressive atmosphere. the service is usually very good with friendly staff. they seemed a bit shorthanded this time but still pleasant. the food is always good and the prices are reasonable with good sized portions. I LOVED the food here!! However, I was not happy with my server Gloria. She was very sweet, but then she started asking my parents too many personal questions and it just made the whole dinner uncomfortable. She was leaning on the booth having a whole conversation as we tried to eat. My goodness next time I go back, PLEASE have someone else wait on me. Other than that the food was great!

Hadn’t been here since the late 80s…glad to learn it was still open and happier still that they still serve up those legendary onion rings! Service was quite good, and portion size of all foods was generous. Prices were good considering the amount of food. Taste was also good. Next visit: that legendary icebox pie with the amazing meringue.

The air conditioning was out. I tried the chicken fried steak. Do not order. It consists of a very thin piece of meat and over half of it is a thick crust on both sides. At least the waiter was friendly, fast, and professional.
