This place is downright fantastic. Haven’t found anything yet that I didn’t love. They do a great job with the food, everything from flavor to presentation. Price is amazingly good for the quality and quantity you get. When I’m in town for a week, I will stop in 3-4 times.

I had high hopes for this salad, unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations. Nor did it live up to the $15 price tag. The greens in the salad were unwashed, there was grit and sand in every single bite. The meat / belly tasted old. It had a strange flavor, it certainly wasn’t fresh. I understand you can’t make beer braised pork belly on the fly and must be prepared in advance. However, it didn’t taste fresh. It had that “old meat / old fat” taste. While I did eat the meat, the rest of the salad was inedible. We contacted the restaurant and they did apologize and refunded the cost of the salad. So beware if you order this salad.

Visited on a Friday evening, and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Their drinks were very good, including their non alcoholic options. We ordered their shredded pork sweet potato fries, which were really good (little spicy). For our main course, we had the salmon and risotto and the cowboy steak. The salmon and risotto were pretty good with the risotto having a fresh taste from the lime juice used. The steak ordered medium was overcooked and was strong in flavor with the rosemary and the char from the grill. They cut the steak prior to cooking. I’d guess that allows much of the flavor and moisture to leave the meat as it overall was bland other than what they smother it with.

Stayed at the hotel this was connected to. Don’t often anticipate hotel restaurants to be that great. However I have to say I was pleasantly pleased by the quality and portions of this restaurant. I would definitely eat there again if I went back. It has a very Latin flare with a Argentine gaucho type cuisine.

Dinner was delicious at the de Fuego Grille and the Underground “Speakeasy” bar was a lot of fun. It has a unique atmosphere, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun and fancy night out!
