I call this place A lil duck off because it’s so well hidden that many don’t know about them. Yet. The service and food get a ➕ A in my book. The owner is a friendly woman, with that good southern hospitality we all love. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed. Good home cooking beats fast food any day of the week. Glad my cousin recommended them. Gotta support our own and support local small business at home. God bless.

I’ve only had salads from here but everything looks and smells delicious in this place! Service was great! They’ve added pralines and had tasters today. BOMB!!! It’s going to be hard maintaining my diet with this restaurant!! I want to try all.the.things! Ugh! Lol

First time going as a family for lunch and we were all pleased. Ribs, baked chicken, smothered pork chop, gumbo, baked Mac, cabbage were all very tasty. Took me months to finally try this place and now it’s becoming a weekly dinner tradition. Everything is cooked in-house and I’ve yet to find a meal of theirs that is second to another restaurant in this parish! Even if you call towards closing time, if they have the ingredients on hand, you’re getting your requested meal! Would encourage anyone visiting or residing in St. Bernard Parish to go check this place out! You won’t regret it!

This was our first time eating from here. The food was amazing. My husband ordered the pork chops with cabbage and greens. I had the stuff bell pepper and baked macaroni I just can’t say enough good things about the food. Give it a try.

Saw a menu at a convenience store. When I read ‘fried chicken livers’ , my friend and I decided to go for lunch. We got chicken livers, sweet potatoes, cabbage, collard greens, corn bread. Oh, and gumbo! We took enough leftovers home for a nice sized snack. It was so good! We’re going back for lunch again!
