We are new to the area and are thrilled to have discovered this Cafe. We will be returning often! The hamburger steak was delicious and served with plenty of onions roasted corn and mixed vegetables. My husband loved the burger too.

Stopped here on our way home from a two month trip to the North East. We try to come through Crocket most trips to eat at the Hilltop. But learned they were permanently closed. Hungry for much missed Texas Chicken Fried Steak, we gave this grill at try. It’s was excellent! Tender, seasoned well and fried just right with delicious cream gravy. Yummy! Served by two friendly, smiling, courteous waitresses. Good job chef and staff!

Came here with my family a little over a month ago . Came in sat down with my family of 4 . Young man comes over About ten minutes after we sat down. He takes our drink order we get our drinks. Meanwhile there are flies buzzing all around the window. I can overlook that it is summer time and it’s hot. Not exactly a great thing but I understood how there could be some. That’s not what the problem was. What ended up happening was we ordered our food and over an hour had went by, and there were several other people who came in after us that received their food before us . Even after he told us that our food was next. I saw at least three tables that came in at least fifteen to twenty five minutes after we did get their food ? After so long had went by well over an hour i asked for the drink check and we left . We were never even offered to comp our drinks. Ridiculous. I even called and asked to talk to the lady Who was the manager, but there was not one answer given as to why this happened.
