Skip this place at ALL cost! Ordered 3/4 pounds of brisket, plain baked potato, and 1/4 Chicken for $47…. Everything came out cold, except the baked potato. the brisket was tasteless with no bark or seasoning & that Chicken must’ve come straight out of the refrigerator (ice cold) And was absolutely tasteless, And disgusting! I would never call this barbecue anywhere in the country, especially from Texas! Plus in 102° weather All they had were fans going no AC! Go 2 blocks down the road & eat at EAKERS BBQ!! Eakers has absolutely amazing barbecue! It is true Texas barbecue to the core!

Davids is a great place for some quality BBQ. It’s a nice family owned restaurant. David also catered my wedding on the 3rd of July. We have eaten here twice, and got it catered. The food has always been delicious and the brisket has always been tender. Definitely worth checking out.

Stopped in on a whim. Just needed some lunch. I would say the brisket is very moist but greasy. We had the taco and the sandwich. It was good but not Texas BBQ good. I asked for some sweet BBQ sauce. The girl there gave me a bottle of sweet baby rays sauce. After putting it on my food. I realized it was a little runny. After taking a few bites. I realized what they done. They thinned the sweet baby rays with vinegar. I am not a fan of being miss led when it comes to my BBQ or sauce. The other reason I was not a fan was that this place needed some repairs. Bathroom door would not lock. Floors were kind of dirty. Please do your part to be a true business owner and your business will be good. This is a honest review!

Sadly I have to give it a star before giving it a review first off I don’t know how this place is still open it was dry and tough the little elderly man that I take care of almost choked on the brisket because of how dry it was, as for the sausage I don’t know how anybody can mess up and the price for the mess that was served is outrageous over priced. If you can’t make a soft juicy brisket than you have no business having a barbecue place ‼️

Service was fast and friendly, brisket was moist and almost melt in mouth, ribs were good ( not a fan of spicemix but thats a personal choice ) jalapeno sausage was very good and i should have gotten a full link vs half,the half chicken was delicious. We had bbq sauce on side and it tasted good. We enjoyed and wold visit again.

Great place, friendly folks who know their BBQ. Had ribs, brisket plate. Not greasy, very moist and delicious. Realty good homemade potato salad and mac salad. Sauce and pico de gallo were perfect with the meat . Also had peach cobbler and ice cream. Got to see the pit smoker operation out back. Fun time and made some friends with the staff and customers. Bathroom was clean, well maintained Will go again.

It is very disheartening to see only 3.9 stars for this place. They deserve 5 stars. The food was great! The ribs melt off the bone and the sausage was on point. The best part is their in house sauce. I really think they should bottle and sale. It is by far my favorite bbq sauce. Their potato salad and Mac and cheese are great as well. I was very pleased with their customer service. I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try. We will returning next time we are in town.
