The BBQ pork taste great but I would get a double portion on the loaded potato or plate. Because the portions are small. Be sure to ask for utensils to eat with. The coconut, peanut butter and chocolate pie are my favorites but ask if it’s fresh or the crust will be wet and mushy. Chicken tenders are delicious and good quality but the honey mustard tasted old. They are always busy but friendly.

My wife and I drove from Crossville, TN, back home to Dawsonville, GA. We planned to stop and eat along the way as we drove and were stopped at a traffic light on Highway 60 when we saw Dave’s Spiced Right BBQ on the side of the road at the intersection of Highway 58. My wife looked up reviews on our Yelp app while we sat at the light and we decided to check this place out.

Fantastic BBQ joint with reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Nothing fancy and no indoor seating. Recommend calling ahead and placing your order, wait was about 10 minutes for a full rack of ribs. Very consistent good food.

This is a cozy little barbecue spot that has picnic tables on the outside there’s no inside seating. I had the old pork plate with potato salad. The barbecues your typical southern style with a medium sweet barbecue sauce. The potato salad is Amish style. Will definitely eat here again.

The absolute best bbq around! Not just bbq but there’s something about those French fries thats so good, sometimes I stop in just for the fries. It’s well worth the drive considering the other options that are closer. The staff is always courteous, prices are reasonable. When you go, be sure to try the banana pudding, definitely as good as momma makes it! Only reason for 4 stars is because they close too dang early!!!

Delicious ribs and pulled pork bbq along with amazing sides and mouth watering desserts! We even got to meet the owner Mr. Tony! We enjoyed a great conversation with him talked about one of our favorite vacation spots!

menu prices online do not match in store. I called in a head of time and waited 20 minutes for my food. It was sitting on the counter.

I had the bbq sandwich special. It was real bbq. It was reasonably smoky but not great. They need a better ordering system. It was a very cramped space and there were 10 maskless people crammed in.
