Don’t go here too often, but when I want a good burger and onion rings for fries this is where I go. Nice little ma & pa type place. Ambience is nice and the food is always hot and good. Shrimp basket is great! Good place to have a late night bite or afternoon lunch.

One of the only decent food options in town but as a result it can be incredibly busy at times and you can end up not getting served for a bit of time due to the demand overwhelming the staff. The food is usually really well made. Staff could be a bit more cheerful but it’s hard to be that way when you’re dealing with high stress of a lot of customers great job security for them but also a lot of pressure. If you’re in the superior area and have to have something to eat this would be the dining place of choice I would recommend.

This place is a huge disappointment and will NEVER return. Our family had 2 steak dinner specials, 2 burgers with fries, 1 chicken strip basket and four of us had two bar drinks (2 drinks were beer on tap). The other person had water for a drink. Our bill was $136.00. YES! You read that correctly…..$136.00! I had asked if this was correct and was told that it was. I do not mind paying high prices for excellent food and service, but this was clearly not the case! The steaks were mediocre at best, the French fries and chicken strips were soggy and cold, and the burgers were just plain horrible. And then to make this experience even more memorable, the service was extremely slow! My recommendation is if you are looking for a place to eat, keep driving by this place!

Food wasn’t bad, but if the cook would have actually washed her hands after eating and wiping her nose before touching the fries on the plate in front of her to make sure they were still warm, it would have been a better experience. Thank God I didn’t see that before our food was served. Gross!

We were in town for a high school football game and wanted to go downtown and have a drink. Melinda stayed open late for us so we could celebrate. She even called me and took our pizza orders. Thanks for hosting our group from Syracuse, NE. Great pizza!

Different from most small country diners I’ve been in. Welcoming friendly staff. I would not recommend if you don’t look or act like you’re from Nebraska. The locals will give you the stink eye until you leave. Other than that it was quite enjoyable.

I went here tonight about 7:25 the door said they were closing at 7:30 but the owner happily waved us to come in, as soon as we picked a table his wife very rudely just threw out menus on the table and said “ we close in like 3 minutes” so we said he told her that he said to come in she just rolled her eyes and walked away! Pretty not great service anytime we visit here … No wonder they are selling it they scare people off!! We just left right away.
