In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

So delicious! Chicken is juicy and the breading taste amazing. Got the tender and slider and wow!! An absolute explosion of flavor. This is better than most chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The fries have a nice seasoning that’s good. Restaurant is clean and has a great ambiance. I will be returning again and again, amazing nuff said!!

I ordered the #3 Slider, Tender and Fries Combo. Was very impressed. Chicken was moist and very flavorful (medium heat). Staff was excellent and prompt. Will definitely come back again. Finally the AV has a good Nashville Chicken place that is good.

This is a very average chicken place at best. The seasoning is horrible, but not bad when mixed with honey and sauce. It’s also quite expensive, granted you do get a massive size of chicken. Honestly it seems like the type of atmosphere that would have a band playing or something but it’s just a decorative, average at best, restaurant. Sassy bird is better.

The spice level is very inconsistent at this chain specifically the cooks should truly be evaluated I ordered medium and hot and both were same with no spice I went back a week later I got hot and spicy both the same no spice I’ve been to two other chains in Southern California and never have I experienced that with them which was fairly surprising given the standard of this chain would evaluate this store and the cooks food is amazing but the costumer should get what they are expecting management should be on quality from open to close !

This location started off ROUGH. I came here right after opening and the chicken was low quality, seasoning was bland, just bad overall. I went to some of the locations down in SFV and was blown away with how much better the food was.

Delicious hot chicken served fresh. We’ve never had a bad meal from Dave’s Hot Chicken. The short wait for your order to come out is worth it. The menu is simple but I think it helps keep the quality high.

Three stars for the fries and spicy but I didn’t like the chicken. It was spicy but the taste is what I just didn’t like.. kinda sweet-ish and spicy. Not my favorite combo but for those who like sweet n spicy stuff I guess you should try it out to form your own opinion.

1st time here and had no compaints. I Had 1 chicken slider and 1 tender. Ordered chicken hot so it did have a little kick to it. Added honey and their sauce to it and it was bomb. The bread was soft the flavors were all there and the crispness to the chicken topped it off. It was bomb. The fries, I didn’t care for them but the sliders were definitely good. I will eat here again.
