In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

After reading many reviews, I gave it a shot. Had the #1, which is two tenders on white bread, fries, pickles, sauce. $12 seems like a for chicken and fries but the chicken was thick and you get a decent amount of fries.

I had an amazing experience eating the food here at Dave’s hot chicken. You can definitely tell the employees and management are committed to having great service and a friendly atmosphere. The manager Kane even went up to me to ask if I was enjoying the meal. The food is delicious and comes with variety of flavors and spices! 10/10 would recommend, I will definitely be coming back for more.

This place is goog for fast, fried chicken. I didn’t have to wait that long after placing my order. I ordered chicken strips to go. I opted for no spice because I don’t like spices food but I do love fried chicken. The strips without spice are kind of bland and can use some salt, onion powder and seasoning, but all in all, they are still good, cooked to order, fast and friendly service. Atmosphere is very casual as most fas food places are. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

This is officially my favorite spicy chicken sandwich spot! Treated my girlfriend here and she loved it also! Everything is on point and super delicious! I’m officially addicted to Dave’s Hot Chicken now lol if you like spicy chicken sandwiches then this is a must try!

Stopped at Dave’s this past weekend. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. Very clean and good seating in and outside. The only downside is that the chicken wasn’t spicy at all. I got medium and my nephew got ghost reaper. Neither of us even had a spicy factor. The seasoning was SO salty. The chicken itself was juicy and tender, so maybe we just got a bad batch of seasoning? might try it again to be sure.
