In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time tried Dave’s hot chicken. Of course because it says “HALAL”. Just loved it. Dave’s sauce goes very well with the chicken tenders and fries. Also liked the serving, it was quick and easy. Price is also reasonable. Would try again.

I have been waiting for this place to open up and let me tell you. when you go you will not be disappointed. The food is outstanding. I usually get a medium and a hot slider. Also known as the number 2. I hope they get a wider selection drinks other than that, it’s the best.

First time at this location, and we were greeted when entered. The staff was patient as we took time to order our food, and they explained really well how the food was served and all that was included.

First visit to Daves Hot Chicken. The Spicy HOT chicken slider sandwich is good, nicely seasoned, and tasted fresh. The chicken was served piping hot. My one recommendation is that the bun should be larger, at least enough to fit over the chicken.

CHICKEN WAS SOOOO GOOD. Eat Hot REAPER at your own risk they don’t have the name HOT CHICKEN for no reason I’ll tell you that the chicken was extremely spicy and I eat spicy food all the time. Hottest bite I ever had.. but it was super crunchy and it was juicy in the inside. Fries were perfect also, Paid 13 bucks for a full meal I would’ve enjoyed more if I didn’t get it sooo spicy.

First time having this wonderful chicken sandwich. Food was fantastic but the wait time was a bit much considering most were here during their lunch hour. Many turned and left in frustration. Service wasn’t bad but could have been more welcoming to customers.

Service was indifferent with no attention to detail and it took way too long to prepare the order. Maybe a training and/or staffing issue, but there’s a definite need to improve the experience. Prices are too high considering it’s just two strips of fried chicken doused in hot sauce. This is a new place that is experiencing serious growing pains.

Visiting this location for the first time. Tried the single sliders on medium heat and really enjoyed them. Chicken was perfectly spiced and crispy. Coleslaw is a game changer. Will try spicier levels next time

Very tasty! I had the two sliders at the very hot level. I didn’t think they were overpoweringly hot but I’ve built up a tolerance. Also it did make me sweat a little so don’t get me wrong, it was spicy! The fries were awesome. Very crispy and seasoned perfectly. The slaw on the sliders was perfect. Nice clean crisp taste on the hot contrast. Two sliders were almost too much for me but hey, it was good so I cleaned the plate. I didn’t ask but a BBQ sauce on any of the chicken would be fantastic. I’m curious how the reaper hot is, so I might have to re-review when I find out. Lastly I love the voice of the dude calling order numbers. Very videogamesk. Nice touch!

Slowest service ever!!!! I mean, it’s a fast food restaurant, not fine dining! ! ! ! While we were waiting for half an hour, there were 10 people in the kitchen area and they were just talking!!!
