Since coming here by accident on opening day and having the food, this place has not let me down in any aspect not once. Everything is fantastic here. The service is always great, the chicken is always great, and the atmosphere rocks. They have multiple spice levels to choose from, so whether you like it non-spicy or eye watering and flame breathing you can get that. The best part is no matter what the chicken isn’t plain and bare, it’s got a unique layer of dry rub seasoning on it. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Came for lunch with a friend, and It was not busy at all. I think we got there at 1:30 pm and found parking right away. The place has outside seating. The inside has a very cool hip vibe. Our cashier was super nice and polite, and since it was our first time, she explained everything to us and made suggestions. I got the 2 tenders with fries meal. I got it in medium for the spice level, and it was not spicy at all. Like the cashier stated, medium is more mixture of a lot of seasoning with honey, and it was delicious. The fries are crinkle fries that have seasoning on them. They were not as crunchy as I liked my fries, but they were still good. Now I really couldn’t get as messy as I would have liked, which I think makes all the difference when eating a meal, but it was all delicious none the less. I know if you want to try the “reaper,” they do make you sign a waiver. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was great, and I would definitely return and maybe try their sandwich next time. They are in a shopping plaza so they do have a big open parking lot.

Second time here within a two week span. Definitely on the pricier side. Got the reaper, spice level is manageable if you can tolerate spice, but it is a slow burn. Service is outstanding, asked for a modification after my order was already placed and they delivered on it. Food is always fresh and hot. The tenders are on the saltier side for me and milkshake is a bit too sweet as well.

I had my first visit here and, while the servers were fantastic and the atmosphere was enjoyable, the limited menu with mostly chicken tenders and the use of a dry rub hot seasoning left me feeling unsatisfied. Next time, I’ll make sure to check the menu in advance. However, the great service and ambiance were definitely highlights of the experience.

Dave’s is one of those chicken joints where you can go for a quick bite. Their tenders are juicy enough without being extra spicy(unless you ask for it), and their fries are above average. They’ve a range of spice levels that you can customise.

This is the better Dave’s location in the Charlotte area. The manager here really shows it too. The food here is consistent and perfect each time. I feel like the university location is too greasy but this one is just perfect. They have very easy to access outdoor seating and parking is very simple. Restaurants is very clean and kept, the service here is excellent and they always try to help resolve issues for us.

Mehhh.. the chicken was mid the fries were great!! the Dave’s sauce was so, so.. I think for a chicken sandwich or tenders I can just stick to Zaxbys or make my own at home. It was a little pricey $32 for 2 tenders sandwich meals & 2 drinks.. Customer service was great & the location was clean. Overall it’s ok.

The seasoning on the hot chicken was finger lickin’ good!!!! I love spicy foods and we got medium spice and it was a small kick. I will definitely come back and try the next level of spice.

First time eating at Dave’s Hour Chicken! Don’t be fooled by the menu when you see slider.. it’s a big sandwich! You can go from no heat to very hot when you order. French fries were excellent. Mac and cheese was not the style I care for (I prefer baked mac and cheese and this was creamy stove top style) but wife loved it!
