In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken is a 10/10. It’s super crispy and the flavor is on point. However the Mac and cheese was a disappointment. The business photos make it look good but what I got was basically soupy cheese sauce with a few noodles. If the texture was better it could be good because I like that they add spice to the cheese sauce.

Long lines but the service was fast paced and it moved smoothly. Has a Medium spice has a nice kick without being overpowering. Crinkle-cut fries with cheese were crispy and delicious! They give you extra sauce / honey, but the sandwiches is so flavorful that these aren’t even necessary. It’s a win win for the kiddos who are picky eaters will be back.

Living in Nashville, I thought I would try Dave’s Hot Chicken. The fries were great. The chicken was also good, with good chunks of chicken. The seasoning had a sweet aspect, which is not very common in Nashville, but I enjoyed. They were dry with seasoning rather than a wet sauce. Not very spicy. Definitely worth going back again and for anyone to try.

I’ve been to their restaurant a few times and I have to say, it’s definitely worth the hype. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the seasoning is just right – it’s got the perfect balance of spicy and savory flavors. The sides are also delicious – I highly recommend the mac and cheese and the kale slaw. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I also appreciate that they have a variety of spice levels to choose from, so you can customize your meal based on your preference. Overall, I would definitely give Dave’s Hot Chicken a five star review. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves chicken and spicy food!

Me & my partner were sooooooo excited to try this place , especially because of TikTok lol , but sadly we were a bit disappointed. Like the chicken wasn’t bad but it was bad at the same time. The chicken looked seasoned but tbh it really wasn’t . We got hot & for me it wasn’t really hot to be honest. For my partner it was hot for her but it also gave sweetness which I wasn’t really expecting. The fries , were okay , like it tasted good but I wish it was more fresh. The fries were cold to touch , wasn’t crispy which I was sad about :(. The bread & m&m loaded shake was good ig lol.

Ordered takeout from here. Their tenders are among the best I’ve ever had. House sauce is delicious! Just wish the toast that comes with the tenders wasn’t totally plain (sth like a texas toast would’ve been amazing).
