Stumbled upon this little diner in High Ridge when I visited the town for the first time to pick something up. Ate a yummy meal at this quaint diner from another era all by myself, and was thankful I stopped by. Had fried fish with slides, and a slice of strawberry pie at the insistence of the waitress.

Great dinner! your typical 24 hour dinner. I love this place reminds me of when I was a kid and how things used to be . Food is alright arrived hot and freshly cooked but normal dinner menu so nothing to trace about but of course the help is limited so might take a little bigger long as all business that are short of staff are but that’s doesn’t stop smile that comes with the service. Overall it’s a great dinner my choice for those late night meals and when you just want a hot breakfast without the sides.

Such a great little diner. The price is a pretty cheap. The food isn’t bad. I would say this is a great place to go after drinking night. Much better than Denny’s. Definitely worth a drive over.

Dave’s Diner is a small town, local restaurant. And it should stay that way. The food is OK for its price. Its really hit or miss which type of customer service you get. Sometimes you could have the sweetest lady that is constantly kind, and other times you can have a rude woman that makes you not want to come there again. The place is scummy and has hanging fly traps in the corners, it is very disgusting when your eating a hamburger and there’s a dead fly hanging over your food.

I didn’t really like the food. I really wanted to like this place, I like helping out little local places, but I just couldn’t bring myself to eat my food. The roast beef I had ordered still had little frozen pieces all over it, the potatoes were instant-potatoes, and the green beans were cold straight from a can. I would be willing to try this place again to change my review (if they got fresher food), but I am definitely hesitant to return.
