This place is open seasonally. This Year is from February 26 – April 3, 2022. Saturday and Sunday 8 am – 3 pm. I drove two hours to get here. And today was a snowy day. The drive was absolutely worth the experience. The place was jam packed. We waited about an hour to be seated. While you wait you can tour the sugar house while you wait. I met Lisa there and she explained the process. The food was great too. We had a short stack, mixed berry waffle, combo #2 and Walters favorite. Instead of pancakes we ordered Finnish pancakes. Maaaan those were absolutely wonderful. It’s kind of a hybrid between waffles pancakes and eggs. Devine. I highly recommend this place. And also they have farm made maple syrup. They mentioned that they made the batter freshly. It was quite a treat on a snowy day in New England.

Great staff but way too busy! Over 2 hour wait. We chose to leave but will try another day. Show up BEFORE doors open to try and beat the crowd.

Beautiful mountaintop farm setting with views for miles. This restaurant is within an operating farm where the maple syrup is produced. we’ve loved everything we’ve had to eat here, especially the Finnish pancakes which are not easy to find anywhere else. The sausage is fantastic, well, seasoned. It’s just a simple, friendly spot for a great farm breakfast, great for groups. Off the main roads and well worth the drive.

Great Pancakes! I love that they give you a small bottle with your breakfast. Definitely off the beaten path put it’s part of the appeal. Tables are family style. So, depending on when you go you might be seated with another group but the service is pretty quick.

Gluten free pancakes are awesome! This family run joint is a joy to visit. We spent a long time checking out the surrounding farm and speaking with the owners. Friendly staff and the perfect type of food you would expect from a sugar house in this area. Don’t miss it!

Really enjoyed our visit this year. It appears the menu selection is a bit smaller this year, under new management, but everyone in our group enjoyed their food – pancakes, French toast, Finnish pancakes, waffles! There was a wait to get in but the service was fast and friendly.

The most heartbreaking time to be gluten free is at a sugar shack, BUT NOT HERE!! These folks have FANTASTIC gluten free pancakes and waffles. We make the drive often because it’s worth it! Very casual, super nice people, and the kids love poking around the farm.
