Quaint but lovely restaurant serving super fresh delicious food. The scallops were amazing and the schnitzel was incredible.

Varied but small menu. Small portions with purpose and poise. Charming intimate space. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely set aside your evening to have a paced plate by plate meal.

Super friendly staff. The tapas style dishes were simply perfect. We ordered a half a dozen oysters and they’re served with horseradish, lemon on the side; super fresh.

The dining month menu was alright and the parking wasn’t the funnest but the place was very nice. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. I especially enjoyed the scallops. We both picked the same options from the Portland dining month menu.

Service and ambiance were great but the kitchen was struggling a bit the night we were there. Only two people working in the kitchen. 3 really great plates came out, but then the 4th was a face-plant (uncooked veggie, instant-tasting mash potatoes, no flavor in meat) and we sent it back and got a replacement with raw-centered pork which also went back. We were more than appropriately comp’d (thanks) and again the wait staff were great.

Great food and great atmosphere! You will spend a little more here, but you will also get a little more. We come here for special occasions and the occasional date night.

I hate to do this, because I loved Kevin Gibson Pastaworks spot years ago…but we were there for 3 hours to eat 5 courses. Mind you each course is really an appetizer. So: order. wait 40 minutes. eat for 5 minutes. wait for 40 minutes. eat for 5 minutes. etc. This place makes glaciers calving look like the Indy 500. Food good? Sure. But after 40 minutes of staring at an empty wine glass a bloody Subway sandwich would have been a godsend.

Burger was pretty good…certainly gourmet. The heirloom tomato was clutch. But there are better burgers in PDX. “Fries” were weak IMHO.
