Dan’s grill has a unique taste for the area. From my understanding They have deep Cuban roots. Service has always been great. I had a Cuban Sandwich with Fries. This would make a great lunch for two people to split. I also had a chance to try their roasted pork bowl (Wow)

Dan’s Grill is a small family restaurant with great authentic Cuban food. I live in Miami, own a home in Blairsville so we visit monthly. We never miss eating at Dan’s because we love the food. It is the only real Cuban restaurant in the area. The only one that offers a menu that is like eating at home, much better than Cuban restaurants in Miami. As I read some of the comments I am astonished. Some of the expectations expressed by a few of reviewers are unrealistic. This is not a Michelin star restaurant, if you want that type of service you are not going to find it anywhere near there. Just chill, enjoy your meal. Have a meaningful conversation with others in your party while you wait, enjoy the moment.

This was an wonderful dining experience. Kaitlin provided excellent service, she was kind, efficient and helped us with gluten free options. The food was delious, one of the best Ceasar salads with grilled chicken I have ever had. Great family restaurant with wonderful food and great service. Highly recommend if you are in the area!!!!

I ordered Cuban sandwiches to-go. The sandwich was top notch, authentic and just terrific. I would suggest that an option besides fries is given as a side, especially for to-go orders. By the time I stood in line to receive my order and drove to Meek’s Park, the fries were cold. I feel sure they would have been great at the restaurant. The wait to get my order took entirely too long. I would suggest a separate register for to-go orders, or faster card processor… something. Anything to get that line moving. Folks who work don’t have the time to stand in that line to pick up lunch. I sure will go back. And I sure will allow more time to get/pay for the great food.

If you love Cuban Cuisine, this is a must! We arrived on Christmas Eve, with a group of 8. We were sat immediately and the service that followed was impecable. The food was fresh and AUTHENTIC! Wish we had this spot at home!

Everyone had told us we have to try the restaurant… We finally did, and WOW. It is always packed and there is almost always a short wait. We came and got seated right away, but still had to wait a bit while they took everyones order. Well worth the wait. Great meal, best Cuban sandwich ever and even better desert.
Beep; Boop Beep!
We decided to explore outside of Blue Ridge today and wandered over to Murphy on a tip that Dan’s Grill was a good choice, and boy why were they right. We split a Cuban sandwich or in a couple of appetizers along with a Cuban coffee and everything was outstanding. Service was great, food came out quick, and everything tasted delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

Really great place for lunch. We had the chicken skewers and shrimp skewers. They come with two side. I chose salad( which is pretty good size) and sweet plantains. Both were great. We will be back. Great service too.
