Decent RUBBER Tacos with an Attitude… you are spinning the roulette every time you come to this food truck. Somedays they get decent meat, but most of the time they get the cheapest cut meat they can get and you and up with half mean half rubbery fat that you can’t chew through much less swallow.

I ordered on Thursday Nov 3 around 2 a.m a torta and quesatacos after a few beer paid 40 and gave back 3 dollars then I told the cashier I have her 40 an she told me I have her only 25. I don’t even like Hot Dogs but this was amazing. I had ordered the patty melt and garlic fries. Besides the chipotle sauce being very spicy on the dog it was very enjoyable. Wonderful atmosphere as well it cheered everyone in my group up enough to enjoy a night on the town in Los Angeles.

Literally only ordered four tacos, I figured they would be larger because the price for one was $2.74. But not only were the tacos on the small side there was one tortilla instead of the normal two. This might seem ridiculous but I had decided I was feeling confident so I went in my new clothes (im transgender) and the cashier ignored me the entire time and my Spanish speaking friend was the only person of us two she’d acknowledge. I was paying and I know conversational Spanish but was ignored and charged $14.01 for four tacos and a coca-cola. Btw tacos are listed as $2 on their menu.

Im glad to see all these bad reviews telling the truth. Food is over priced. But the most disgusting part is the customer service. I’ve seen two different cashiers. They both act like if you were begging for free food. The moment you approach the window, they look at you annoyed and inpatient. You have any question? They stare at you with a frowning face. One of the cashier speaks zero English and she would just answer your questions in Spanish in a way as if its your fault for not speaking Spanish. The other cashier does speaks English but her attitude is disgusting too. Seems like they have been the only taco truck available in that area and that makes them feel imprescindible and entitled to give you that attitude. The good news is that if you walk on Olympic just on west of Grand Ave, you will find a new truck. Bigger portions, better prices and a good customer service. And I notice that this new truck is attracting more business. So please do yourself a favor and stay away from Dannys Tacos.

So yesterday my family and I passed by Danny’s truck and decided to get stop by and try the food. At first everything was okay until one of the ladies (i think manager) started yelling at the cook. I was very startled because I could tell the cook was scared. I wouldn’t ever think of treating someone in that manner. The cook was and older lady mid fiftys I would say. I was so horrified and I would never ever support this business. The cashier was friendly and tried to calm the lady down,but I could tell she was shocked and frightening aswell. I feel for their employees. It amazes me that in this century people are still enslaving humans.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THE WEBSITE. ordered and paid online, when I got there they said they didn’t see my order. I showed her my confirmation email and credit card charge and she said she didn’t see anything. Showed her the website and where it says “order online” and she didn’t even try to act like she cared. When I turned around to call my bank she was laughing and talking to the other worker about me. Exactly rude staff. Never got my food. Apparently they only work with Postmates and UberEats. On the website it says it’s powered by MenuStar. I will be calling them in the morning
