Grinders!!! These are hard to find in our area! Yay! The bread was obviously fresh and toasted well. They have a lot of grinder options. Husband had the Italian 8″ and I had the veggie 4″. Both were very good. They came with chips and a pickle. The place is clean, including the bathrooms and the staff . The seating layout is good with lots of booths. We sat outside on the covered deck. Lots of ppl were getting takeout pizza so I assume it’s good. It’s very busy on Friday nights! Worth the wait tho!

We had dinner with friends here and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I had the bourbon glazed burger, it was a little messy to hold, but it was great! It had the pretzel bun. Deb had a calzone that she liked. I also had a slice of the pizza they ordered. Very cheesy, that was nice. Definitely a good meal for all if us.

Food is great but the service not so much. Called ahead for pick up was told 30 mins after getting there I waited over an hour over the time that was quoted. They ended up giving me what pizzas they had already made so I had to stop elsewhere because it wasn’t enough for my entire household. However they did end up refunding my money.

If you’re in the Middlebury downtown area you should definitely give this place a shot. They basically have the same menu as Samuel Mancino’s plus more to offer. I usually eat here once a month whether it’s takeout or dine in. They also have specialty milk for sale.

Danny’s Diner is a must-visit stop if you’re in the Shipshewana area. Sure, there are a lot of other great restaurants around, but if you’re looking for something off the beaten path or different from the heavy comfort foods that a lot of local area restaurants offer, this is the place for you! Fast friendly service and fantastic affordability!
