No matter how busy it is, food comes out so fast. I don’t think it’s taken more than 10 minutes for food to come out. Will is an awesome server and is always cordial and quick to respond. One of our favorite breakfast stops.

Very good home cooked food. I had the Ruben sandwich

I had the New York Style pastrami sandwich which was supposed to be 8 ounces of meat. I doubt it had even 3 ounces of meat. $18.50 + another $1.25 for cheese was totally a ripoff. Two of the last three meals were like this. I complained last time about the sandwich size hoping it would not happen again. Sad to say it did. I have eaten at this restaurant at least 30-40 times. Maybe they have new owners. I won’t be going back again. I should have taken pictures. Beware if you go.

Thank You Lord…. A REAL deli in SoCal. First time I haven’t missed NY…. The soup was perfect, Jewish Grandmother’s all over the world would be proud. The Veggie Quesadilla was delicious and the size very generous. I had it delivered but now I can’t wait to actually sit down and eat. EVERYTHING. Well done Danny

Had the home made corn beef hash and three poached eggs with whole wheat toast. The hash was very good! Crispy but not burnt. Eggs were poached very nicely! Clean place and service was very good, my water was always refilled as were the cups of coffee of my friends.

Delicious food. Some say its pricey but that’s not the case. You get so much food for the price. My french toast plate was $9 but look at all the food on the plate. I wasn’t able to finish my food so I took it home and had it for lunch. So $9 got me breakfast and lunch 🙂

I’ve been purchasing this Strawberry Cheesecake for 10 years. My family always ask me to bring this pie to every birthday party. Sometimes I get 3, for a family gathering because everyone loves the taste of this delicious cheesecake. It’s very affordable and comes with lots of strawberries! I recommend you pre-order because they sell out fast.

Don’t be afraid of putting more salt on the fries. Surely the pickles which are complimentary on each table should be eaten in liking according to routine for brown mustard, left near the pickle jar in a clear container with a light, plastic spoon. But let’s not forget about the sandwiches: New York Style or normal as case permits. A bakery sits near the host’s register booth and levels off the wooden furniture and glass-like windows with cookies, special desserts, and thick layers of chocolate spread on the shelves between price tags and appearances of food. I think I feel enough for what Danny’s offers because of all the paintings and photographs left on the surrounding walls to our dining room; the room is exquisitely big, where paintings and photographs are for sale even if customers just want to look at the museum-like art. Ventura is shown in nice colors through the photographs at times and you can sit at a table with free pickles and a large sandwich while absorbing the atmosphere, taking in the colors around the place where mountain images are fine-tuned for surreal, oceanic presentation since Ventura is located by beach resorts with luxury, soft beds, and a little bit of fresh air however the land wants it. When visitors travel to Ventura and get their menus at Danny’s they’ll mostly notice the sky outside near the blue shades of wind. Delicious food complements the taste and we’re digging into bakery treats as fate permits us to spring in the air or summer tomorrow. At times I’m finding myself at a table close to some abstract painting where my food can smell better due to the comfort I’m donning for privilege, even if subtle and fantastic. Everything in the deli restaurant feels surreal, uplighting, comforting, like a shopping bag I’ve left for a kid in Santa Paula. There’s a lot of moments when I think visiting a beach once in a while is better than living in it all the time whether moodiness persists or diminishes. I lived in Ventura for over 20 years total. Danny’s is just one of so many restaurants for sandwiches; other examples include Ameci, Jersey Mike’s, and Santino’s. How my appetite for food is depends on the varying choices which may settle thoughts on privilege, as so. Turkey pastrami and liverwurst are bound to make everything seem okay until the greatness of dining is realized. Servers come and go, line of conduct, across the floor among the patrons with food carryouts and typical, everyday dispute on orders heard and received, and they exhibit kindness towards others as customers justify hunger and frustration. The atmosphere is very nice.

There were 3 of us and one sandwich was mostly gristle. The waitress basically forgot us! The manager took it off our bill. First time we ever had a problem with the food or service. We will give them another try.
