I’m a traveling salesman and hit a new restaurant 3-4x a week between the Tristate area and THIS is a hidden gem I’m so happy I stumbled upon. Food was immaculate, priced fair with serving sizes bigger than expected, staff is incredible and the environment is warm and mafioso just like I like it. The owners daughter made the best Bloody Mary I had all year. Helluva spot.

I have passed this place many times. Finally stopped for lunch and it was very good. I had the French Onion Soup and a cheeseburger. Place was not crowded at all — just me and some locals at the bar having lunch. I enjoyed it and would definitely go back. Always thought it was a cool old building.

We ordered burgers and a turkey club for lunch, the food was good and everything was as expected. We had one waitress take our drink order and another take our food order. The one who took our drink order was less friendly and didn’t get our drink order correct but, our waitress the remainder of the time was very nice. The atmosphere is darker but, has that old Italian bar feel. The building is historic and beautiful.

So I have been going here for over twenty years and honestly it’s a hit or miss, but today just was completely different. I called to place an order and the woman on the phone said they did not sell sweet potato fries which they did but you know maybe they ran out just wrong choice of words on here part, second asked for spaghetti and she said they don’t have that either when it comes with a lot of there dishes. So where ordered our food and I went in and stood at the door for five minutes waiting for someone to come ask me to be seated or what I needed and finally when someone came over and I told her she said talk to the woman behind the bar, so I walk over to this older white hair lady with glasses who while I was standing at the door the whole time was just playing with the register. The front door opens again and several people walk in and she turns around and says hi to them and they sit down at the bar and asked me what I needed so I told her and she says okay hold on and goes to them which i was confused because first come first serve but apparently not there. She made me wait another three minutes while she talked to them and got them all beers, she finally went to the back and got my food and hands me a pen to sign and doesn’t say anything and just walks away to talk to them again, I understand as a bartender you make friends and like to see people but make sure you take care of all the customers and show common courtesy but obviously she is the same one that answered the phone so maybe time to retire.

Excellent family-run restaurant and ice cream stand (next door)! Vincent is friendly, and customer driven. Delicious food cooked to order, an extensive drink menu, and a nice location in the heart of town in a building with amazing history. Worth the trip from anywhere!

Been there twice. Both times I had to wait one hour with no one checking on me. Had to ask for food last time. This time after seeing everyone get their food around me I just left. I tried to support the locals but, they will not see me again. I don’t understand. I see the parking lot is always full. Everyone in the place was having a great dinner. For some reason it was just me. Maybe because I am brown and not like all the other patrons?

This is a nice place to eat with warm atmosphere. Our server, Patrick, was such a sweet young man and very new. He did not miss anything and had a great personality. The food was good and showed up really fast. Will return again, and have told my dad about it too
