Beautiful setting inside! I love the atmosphere of the place. It was pretty empty when we went on a Thursday night. We ordered the Special B (feeds 3-4) for just the 2 of us. We had heaps of food delivered in literal moments after we ordered. All in a huge metal pan w/ the food covered in sauce and seasoning. Make sure to wear your bibs and gloves! Everything was so delicious and the corn on the cob was the best I’ve ever had! We have half the pan to take home still. But I will say if more people are eating this to share, get more potatoes.

Food was good! Definitely worth checking out if you are a Cajun food fan. It was very warm inside the restaurant, not sure if they were having a/c issues or something but it was uncomfortably warm. The service was very friendly but slow to take our order and missed some condiments we asked for initially, then we had to find another waitress to ask because we couldn’t find ours. The food was still worth it despite the other issues.

This was by far the best seafood I’ve ever had. I love seafood and I like to eat it every time there’s a special occasion. Went here with my husband for our anniversary and it was perfect. The restaurant was clean, the staff was excellent, and the food was divine. So sad I don’t live anywhere near Kansas City so I can come on the regular.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, it’s on the pricey side but they do have some $15 dinner options. We went for a combo of snow crab legs and a pound of shrimp, it came with potatoes, it was larger enough to split between 2 people, it was $57 for our option, they have even more experience combinations.

I ordered the combo meal. The lobster was over cooked, only got 2 shrimp and maybe small scallops. The food did not have any seasoning ( was supposed to be Cajun). My girlfriend got the crab and shrimp boil. The crab was over cooked and inedible. The corn was frozen and chewy. She did not get any of the seasoning she asked for. The price definitely does not reflect the quality of food you pay for. Would definitely recommend Hook and Reel over this place.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Always a fair market price on fresh seafood. With a staff that’s willing to make everything right! Michael the manager is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met working in the food industry. I wish I could tell more people about this place, one of my favorite places to eat!

My wife and I came here for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was our first time. The food was really good. We could’ve chosen a different seafood flavor for the meal but that was not an issue. We will definitely come back again with our family. We know what to order and how it would benefit our family. Flavor was great. Special B was a lot for two people (good for 3-4 people).

This was a great experience for me. The thing is, if you’re going to show up here, you’ve better be a seafood fan! The drinks are great too! They make a nice Long Island Iced Tea. If you’re a seafood/Cajun food fan and you’re inviting people who may not be, they do have other options on their menu. The bar and atmosphere is cool too and the staff were great when we were there. The photo shown is after I dumped the food out of the plastic bag it is served in, for whatever reason. However, as a fan of seafood, I was satisfied.
