After doing some research, Damiano’s Italian restaurant was selected as the place to try for today’s lunch. Maybe it was the time change or Spring break, but there was no wait at the restaurant as we got seated right the way. For appetizer I ordered Stuffed mushroom and Lasagna with Meat Sauce for my lunch course. The Stuffed mushroom was not what I had in mind since the description indicated it was stuffed with Crab meat and Sherry wine sauce; the dish had more sauce than I had imagined but it’s OK as the dish had good flavor. Lasagna was good and tasty, maybe a little light on the meat sauce amount. The service was very prompt with friendly staff.

This place is Amazing! Loved the food and taste, I ordered Vickie’s special and it was awesome and very flavorful! The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. Our waiter Jim was on point and very polite. He did a great job getting us what we needed and keeping our drinks full! I will definitely be going back again. This place is very Authentic and family owned you can tell they take pride in cooking and making you feel at home!. If your looking for an Authentic Italian restaurant I recommend this place!

Looks like I discovered Damiano’s during transition. New owners are renovating the restaurant…new name, new layout, new menu, the whole shabang. Went on a Friday afternoon looking for a new place to dine at the bar. My wife and I were literally the only patrons save for a pickup order and one guy who came in solo. The staff was friendly and the food was great…just need to wait a week or two before they complete the renovations.

Yikes. We ordered though DoorDash and it took the restaurant three hours to make the food. When it arrived, the garlic bread was burnt, the rolls were burnt, the lobster ravioli portion was a joke considering the price, and my lasagna was so dried out the noodles could be snapped (see video). There was also hardly any meat sauce on this disgusting lasagna. Will never ever patron this establishment again.

Sadly you have lost another loyal customer. The quality and execution have deteriorated since the owners retired. Our pizza, spaghetti, rolls and eggplant parmigiana was not good. We are an Italian American family from “The Hill” in Providence, so we know what Italian should be. We will now give our business to Toni and Luigi’s I Georgetown.

This place is wonderful! The service was really great, our waitress was so nice. I tried Nina’s Special and subbed the chicken for meatballs, it was fantastic! Everything here is super fresh and the alfredo sauce is without a doubt scratch-made. Can’t wait to come back!

Truly fresh Italian food. Everything is made in house. Freshly made pasta, not dried. Tomato sauce that comes from fresh tomatoes, not a can. Everything that I have had so far (and my husband and I have eaten there four times, three times as take out, once in the restaurant) has been delicious. When we ate in the restaurant, the server recommended a lovely Italian wine that I had never heard of. I’m picky about wine, and it was a perfect complement to the meal. The server, an older woman whose kids had grown up and moved away, also talked about how she enjoyed working there because it was like being surrounded by family again. They obviously treat their employees well.
