This is easily the best Indian restaurant in charlotte. They’ve got a unique menu with items not seen at many other restaurants. Last time I went we got the Bisi Bele Bhath or Khichidi and it was phenomenal. I’m not sure I’ve seen this anywhere else. It is a nice change of pace to eat at more of a south Indian restaurant.

Went here with my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary last night. We had a really nice evening. Food was great and the curries we had were excellent. Service was fairly slow, but they were very busy with take out orders. Our food came out extremely hot and fresh though, so no real complaints.

Always a wonderful experience coming here. The food is outstanding– best Indian food in Charlotte. Service is so helpful — with providing ideas of what to order. My husband and I eat Indian food often but are always interested in new dishes. Never had anything we didn’t absolutely love there. Food comes out quickly and service is outstanding. We are so glad to live close by! Absolutely delicious!

I promised the staff there that I will leave a review. I was surprised of the experience. It was a short one cause my wife and I had to rush somewhere but we were really hungry and were looking for something rich in flavors and spices and we all know what kitchen holds the supremacy in the spice universe. At the entrance we were warmly greeted by one of the guys and were immediately seated. My first question was: “is this Americanized cuisine or original? “ I was immediately assured that it was original and that confirmed by the guests who were mostly Indian families dining in.

Ive been in this city for the past 8 months and hands down this is the BEST Indian restaurant I’ve been to. The chefs have mastered the art of incorporating authentic Indian spices and flavour and they produce a variety of dishes. Along with the food the people who work here are very patient and helpful, I was so confused with what to order and they patiently took me through the entire menu. Lastly, for the quantity and taste I think the price is a perfect match. Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try what Indian food is like and also to those who want to reminisce about food from back home.

This gem is tucked away in a shopping plaza and has little street view signage. We went for lunch and it was not very busy but the food was great. I went with coworkers one who KNOWS his Indian cuisine. The Biryani chicken was great, flavorful but not as spicy as I expected. Next time I’ll have to go extra hot. I sampled my colleagues’ tika masala and found my next choice when I come again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
