I will try one of the main dish next time. Tried the side orders and it was a major disappointment. French fries were not fully cooked with a sprinkle on what seemed like flour. Macaroni was cold and the worst combination of flavor added ( they should try buffalo flavor). The Cauliflower was just okay. The cornbread was just okay and the cinnamon roll tasted like stale bread with frosting. The owner seemed very pleasant as she worked very hard❤️ It was very smoky inside so had to sit outside. No napkins if you need bring your own. I will try again ordering a rice and protein dish. Def no sides and the baked sweets would have to be fresh out of the oven.

Very pleasantly surprised as I did not initially know that this was a vegan restaurant and I am vegetarian. So I was so happy to try this on my visit to Eatonville and I was not disappointed. When you walk in there’s friendly staff and they meet you with a greeting of wah gwan it caught me off guard, but I did respond the same. I had the hoax tale sandwich and jerk macaroni salad it was very good! The flavor and texture was on point, I was in tastebud heaven. I can’t wait to try the other itsms on the menu I loved it and definitely will be going back!

This place is an amazing Jamaican vegan gem in historic Eatonville!! DELICIOUS with healthy portions…It’s definitely a must and worth the trip if you live in the surrounding Orlando area. The staff are friendly and courteous as well.

WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! We are completely blown away by this food. We have eaten vegan food all around the country and this is in the top two. This is definitely the best vegan food you will have in the Orlando area. We had the hoax tail, brown stew, jerk chicken sandwich, and loaded fries. The fries were the crispiest fries EVER! Unlike most other vegan places the portions were massive. You will be full. Very full. Forget Disney, go to DaJen!

Oh man, I just finished my hoax tail and crispy (vegan)chicken bowl and damn. It was amazing. You’d never be able to tell it’s not meat, but it isn’t, it’s better than meat. Love this place and I am ecstatic to see them back open. I got some grape nuts ice cream and a loaf of bread as requested. I also had to get a couple pastries, the bread pudding and the sweet roll which is kinda ambiguous but amazing nevertheless. Always a 5 star experience.

Excellent food!!! Random find on my visit to Maitland as I am from out of state. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending menu items- I tried a rice and rainbow slaw bowl with sweet and spicy cauliflower and their crispy chikn’… it was to die for! The vegan chicken was so delicious and tasted like real chicken (I am not personally vegan but enjoy vegan food finds) and the cauliflower was so flavorful with the perfect amount of crispiness. Would return to Florida just for another visit here, hope to get to try their vegan ice creams one day as well!

This place was truly the best vegan food I have ever had! The mango scotch bonnet short ribs were the best! You get a plate big enough for 2 for $20 and we still could not finish it all. If I lived close by here I would be a regular but sadly I’m almost 4 hours away. I am planning to come back soon!! The red velvet cake and bread pudding were okay, have had better. The vegan ice creams was okay it wasn’t creamy at all, I have had better but for the price it’s decent. The mango ginger lemonade is absolutely amazing!

Best vegan spot in town they just need more gluten free vegan meat options and carb options that are flavorful. Also if your going to hire young people. Run them a proper orientation for customer service
