First time here, The food could be so much better, considering it’s in such a great area. I ordered from the Sandwich Menu; $6.99 for ham and cheese. It took the cook 15-20 min to make my sandwich (under the impression it’s being made with love) Which was ordered hot, but it came cold. Too much time talking and not enough effort put into cooking.

It was an amazing time here. The ladies were so kind to the children and us. We had a great time. The food was amazing too.

I was traveling through Deland recently with my fiancee, and we stopped at Daisy’s Diner to get breakfast. I ordered a waffle, some eggs and home fries, while my fiancee got the biscuits and gravy.

We tried this place twice now and both times ridiculously long wait on food and the orders were edible but weren’t correct. Our first time we had a fairly nice server but the second time was terrible. The workers seems stressed and miserable. You could actually hear the servers yelling at the cooks and vice versa. Good location and we could use a decent breakfast and lunch spot. Also, very hot in there, even in the early hours. Very disappointing and not recommended.

Waited 1/2 hour for simple breakfast despite only 3 tables with patrons; breakfast cooked for our server prior to our food (she proceeded to eat it at the counter in front of customers including us and two women waiting for a take out order. Ceiling lights and ‘Nut House’ hanging sign covered in dust.

This diner is in a great location, with so much traffic from the hospital, surrounding doctors’ offices, and new communities that are being built. It’s sad that with so much potential, there is very little effort put into this place.

We are from NY and drove here needed a place to eat and googled diners this place came up. Despite the awful reviews I said let’s check it out. AWEFUL! UNPROFESSIONAL! They was discussing missing cash and card receipts right in front of customers. Amber must have apologized 100xs since I was there for no reason. And a nice old couple left because people got served before them. Would never come here again !

This quaint little hole in the wall is sorely neglected. From it’s lack of inventory to the wonderful waitress that was clearly overworked and more than likely under paid. We stopped here for lunch and though my brother and my father’s meals were absolutely perfect (despite substituting regular fries for sweet potato fries because they were out of them), mine on the other hand was kinda sad. My meal was the perfect amount of food, but my sandwich came out on the wrong bread and the flavor of the tuna melt was almost non-existent. The tuna was a dark brown and I have to say that I have had better elsewhere. I really hope the owners will put more time and effort into this adorable little spot. It makes me sad to see locally owned businesses poorly managed (lack of inventory, short staffed, tables don’t match wall decor) … And maybe change your tuna melt recipe
