I had gotten two chili dogs with onion and cheese . Paid $7 and something just for 2 chili dogs which were a mess when i got them. Buns were wrinkled and falling apart. It had no onions just cheese and I paid for it. Didn’t know until i got it home. Not a happy customer.

If this is about the one in Portland, IN then I’ll say the deserts r great. Don’t buy any food like a sandwich or anything other than deserts. U will be very dissatisfied. Service is good. It’s just the fast food is terrible. I’m sorry but it’s very true. Other Dairy Queens r much better. But desert wise, they nail it. I don’t think this one opens in time for Valentine’s day anymore either. Which is kind of a let down.

While this was always one of my favorite places that I anxiously await to open, not so much anymore. The prices are way over the top. The dilly bars are as big as a 50 cent piece. I went once this summer. I wont go back. You can get ice cream treats anywhere now days alot cheaper and just as good. It’s a sad day when our lil dairy queen turned into a place to avoid.

We went to the Dairy Queen store in Portland In. We had chocolate mint, cotton candy and Hawaiian blizzards. Very good and did not have to wait to be served.

I visited Portland Dairy Queen this evening with my granddaughter and 95 year mother. Mom ordered a chocolate milk shake and because the picture on the menu board shows whipped cream she planned to spoon it off and feed it to her dog, also in the car. When I was handed the shake and passed it on I saw it did not have whipped cream so I asked the girl in the window if she could put a small amount of whipped cream in a cup. Someone who appeared to be the manager came to the window and said it could not be put in a separate container for someone else to eat but if we passed the shake back in she would add whipped cream. So after 3 people handled it and breathed on it she would rather have it passed back into the restaurant rather than put a small amount in a cup. Not upset over a small amount of whipped cream(even though I did pay for it) but rather very risky, irresponsible decision making. Very worrisome. Next run will be to McD’s. Greg Smith

Pretty decent little Dairy Queen located on the northern end of Portland, across from Pak-A-Sak. They have pretty good prices, atleast on milkshakes. A large is less than $4. There’s usually atleast a little line for the drive-thru, usually moves at acceptable speed.

We were here this evening and the food and service was TERRIBLE. I’ve always liked this place, they have always had delicious hot food, and friendly staff. Sadly, this was not our experience this time.
