The burgers are good although sometimes we only get 2 patties when we order and pay for 3. Ever since they changed their fries though we don’t try to go here as much. The fries are really disgusting, they are soggy, they taste old, my kids won’t even eat them.

I am very disappointed. My family and I regularly visit this Dairy Queen’s drive through on a regular basis. This has been our favorite ice cream spot as it is fast, efficient, and reliable. Until tonight, when we paid a visit through the drive through expecting the usual. We ordered 4 items, with 2 of the items having some sort of problem. The Triple Chocolate Brownie was lacking cocoa fudge, and you could clearly tell the fudge ran out half way through adding it on the ice cream. My Royal Oreo Blizzard came with chunks of cookie dough. Alright, no problem. I go further into the blizzard and realize that there is no chocolate royal filling, the whole reason I ordered and payed extra for the blizzard.

They have quick enough service, but it sure lacks in quality at the expense of the speed. If you order a blizzard it will likely be only half mixed, leaving you with a bottom of pure vanilla soft serve. The soft we’ve machine must serve the ice cream at a higher temp than normal as well as every time my family has ordered our ice cream is already runny before they get it out, and as such they usually won’t even flip the blizzard. The food is nothing special: the fries are as good as Ore-Ida and the chicken strips are likely just great value brand. Spare yourself and just go into the mall for A&W, or treat yourself and go to the west side DQ ins Mankato, a real, family owned location with legitimate customer service where the blizzards magically overflow the cup- and stay when they flip.

Worst chicken strip basket I’ve ever had. This DQ changes their chicken strips and fries all the time. Every time I go I hope and pray it’s better and it’s not. This time was the worst. The fries were cold, soggy and taste like old oil was used. The chicken strips had fatty tissues inside them and also tasted like old oil. I lost my appetite real fast. I was Looking forward to a good meal I guess I paid $10 for just a blizzard.

I came in with my favorite today for a burger and some ice cream. My blizzard came out first. My lady likewise ordered a blizzard. The food came out pretty fast and the cashier told us that her blizzard was on its way out. Fast forward 15 minutes, still no blizzard. We approached the counter and mentioned the unacceptable amount time to prepare ice cream. I blew up because I could have spent my money in a better establishment. Needless to say, I will never support this location again. Friday night, have at least one adult expediting the food.

Everytime I have eaten at this location, the chicken strips and fries are not what DQ typically would have, they look like Walmart food. And are ALWAYS UNDERCOOKED!!!! I just got done puking for the 3rd time since eating at 3pm. NECER EATING HERE AGAIN.

Yesterday I forgot my wallet. The worst feeling and embarrassing thing to happen when you are in the drive thru… I pulled off to the side to see if I could get Google pay to work quick. I see in my side mirror the drive thru worker walking up to my truck. She says “don’t worry, it’s on me”. I tried to tell her no and she insisted and had the brightest smile on her face. Kayla brought me to tears on my way back to work because of her kindness. What a selfless and amazing person that put a smile on my face! Kayla, never stop being the positive and kind person you are. We need more of you in this world
