Ate in, and they still have half the restaurant closed off. The closed off area is full of boxes and is so filthy. The restaurant was packed, and half the customers couldn’t eat in. The person taking our order had no idea what he was doing. My burger was cold, and the cheese wasn’t melted. The tables weren’t cleaned until a customer asked several times for an employee to clean them. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. Deja vu with the Covington branch before it went under.

This location has been getting worse and worse as time goes on. They can’t hold onto employees for very long and are forced to overwork employees to begin with. They put very new people at the window and these workers are struggling. Today I got 2 blizzards and a medium cone. One was a medium smores blizzard no Graham cracker paste, sub choco chunks. Very common practice and is not considered an add on which would cost extra. But it did cost extra. When telling the cashier up front that I had a coupon she told me it was too late. And then read me my total again. I gave her a 10 and then wanted to pay the rest with card. The order took 7 minutes to get done due to having to call a manager to the front to fix the order. By the time I got my cones and blizzards it was melted and soft. When I asked for a sundae lid the worker did not understand. It was apparent she was new and was not getting help from coworkers around.

Been going to this dairy queen for years since they took the one out in covington. And now this dairy queen is on my route to work to easy to not pull in and get an ice cream. Well i wont be going back anymore. Their Large ice cream cones and Large sundaes are SMALLS i swear theres more sundae sauce than there is ice cream and they give you a large cone with the amoint of ice cream for a small cone. I mentioned it to the lady at the window that theyve just gotten smaller and smaller and she just laughed and said well just different people making them. Well maybe you should teach everyone what each size should look like. Then i told her im not coming back because mcdonalds gives the same amount of ice cream for just under 2 dollars and she just laughed and closed the window. That sealed the deal. Goodbye Maple Valley Dairy Queen. Literally tho a sundae at mcdonalds and a cone is the same size as MV DairyQueens LARGE. Im willing to pay more for a true large at dairy queen but not when theyre just going to swipe ya for it.

I have been to this store multiple times, the last two times I have been here the general manager Kelly has been very helpful and kind, today we came in and she offered to sub my drink out because the machine wasn’t working, she also offered to help us on the app and call corporate about an issue, and overall has very good food.
