I don’t know what is happening at this location, but we have tried to eat here twice and both times the wait in the drive through lane was astronomical! The first time was on a Wednesday at 2pm and it took 30min to order and get food with absolutely no one in the drive through line in front of me and no cars in the parking lot. Today, my husband pulled up before 1240 and at 1:10 he was still 2nd in line and not even to the window yet. We love our local Chaska DQ and can’t wait until they can remodel and reopen! We will drive to Shakopee from now on. Who has 45min to an hour at lunch or any time time to wait for fast food! Absolutely ridiculous.

On April 22 (Today) I went through the drive-thru and ordered 3 blizzards to treat my kids as a surprise. My 3 kids and I sat in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes before we got to the window. 10-12 minutes of that was sitting behind one last car before we got to the window. The people in front of us only ordered 2 hot meals. Once we got to the window the worker apologized for delay but I could see our blizzards just sitting on counter melting. I asked the worker how long they were sitting and she could not say. I stated I do not want to pay for ice cream that has been melting for 10+ minutes. She the proceeded to check them and you could tell they were runny from the car. She then looked back at me silent with a look that she expected me to pay versus offering to remake them so I refused the ice cream and left.

Was unable to place order in drive through after waiting for 7 to 10 minutes. I was the only one initially in drive through. Workers claimed to be taking internal orders. If so management has understaffed. Went to competitor. Was able to order and leave in under 5 minutes with a line of 7 vehicles. Time was just before noon on weekday.

My daughter drove to DQ to pick us up dinner & we had a terrible experience. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, but was given something completely different, both of our meals were cold & they were out of gravy & ranch dipping sauce. What a waste of our hard earned money!

So I ordered a blizzard, some cheese curds with ranch, and a pup cup. It took 15 minutes for the car in front of me to get their order. But the whole world is short staffed right now, so I wasn’t going to hold it against them. I know what it’s like to be short staffed and it’s not fun. The lady at the window asked if my dog was in the car, to which I replied no. She then told me that I could not have the pup cup if my dog was not in the vehicle. I’ve been to plenty Dairy Queens in my life and that was never once an issue. I heard her tell her coworker not to make the pupcup. I then heard her coworker tell her that he already made it. She proceeds to hand me my food without the pupcup, despite the fact that it was already made. Just in case you are wondering, my dog was in fact very sad when I came home without his treat…… oh and they forgot my ranch. 0 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

This place is such a disgrace. About every time I’ve gone here they have the door locked for people to come in. What resteraunt does that? The drive thru took 40 minutes just for some crusty food. No glove in sight, I saw a worker pick up slice banana with their bare hands! The drive thru is so claustrophobic, it made me want to take a right once I got in.

Ordered a flame thrower basket meal with a large soda through the drive through last night. Tried to give me a small soda but replaced it when I asked for the correct size. Headed home after they handed me the box of food but when I sat down to eat I discovered they’d given me a chicken tenders kids meal instead of what I ordered.

With the total of about 6 lunch breaks here I think they have got my order correct once, usually takes about 20+ mins to get your food and it cold by the time you eat it. This place has no idea what they are doing and I got sick from their chicken strip basket yesterday that was super cool. Get some staff that knows something.
