Best DQ in the area! To the point I will drive farther than the one off Hwy 61. That one has Horrible service with teenagers that don’t have the sense of making the6re blizzards correctly. These teenagers do not care and I think their nights manager is a teenager! The owner of the HWY 61 DQ should get some tips on how to hire young people who actually can do their job with better attitudes!

You guys have to understand this place is busy 24/7 Yes!! Staff are going to accidentally mess up your order, And that’s okay. Yes it will be slow sometimes because they are super busy inside & in the drive through! Please stop giving the workers a hard time, I’ve seen costumers get upset at the people behind the desk because of prices, They act like they set the prices. Be nice to the new ones. Only knocked down in stars because at the time of order they were out of the parking lot busy and one of the two drinks I bought were not the right flavor. That being said I can’t say I didn’t enjoy the flavor I got it just wasn’t the one I wanted. Wasnt going to take the time to get it fixed. Still think DQ has some of the better food menus for a delicious ice treat shop.

I took my children to get ice cream this evening around 6:30pm. We ordered 3 small blizzards and 1 milk shake in the drive thru. When we get to the window, a young man approached with his hand out. I said hello and ask him can I verify I had 3 blizzards and 1 milkshake due to the total being so low. The guy closed the window on me. He came back to the window, I asked him was there a problem and he shut the window on me again. A lady comes back to the window asked me my order and didn’t acknowledge the issue. I asked why the guy slam the window on me twice and if there was a problem and no answer. I told them I didn’t not want my order anymore as I’m not sure what will be correct and afraid something will be wrong with my order. I try to go inside the store to speak with a manager and the doors were locked. I wait for a car to go through the drive thru and there was another young man at the window, very nice and polite and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name because his customer service was excellent. I asked for the two people names who I interacted with and he gave me the young man name who slammed the window which was Daniel H & the lady name is Yia. My children in I live in the Shoreview area, come here often and have never experienced service like this before. I’m not sure if the staff was having a bad day as the lines were long and they seemed short staff or if it had anything with the color of my skin but it was so disheartening being treated badly for no reason and having to explain to my small children the situation and why we have to drive away with no ice cream. I say this to say, I hope the customer services improves but we would never know as I will never bring my children back to a place that they get treated badly for no reason

Worst experience ever. I got to the drive through at 9:30 and the first thing they say is sorry we ran out of ice cream. Like you are an ice cream place and I see ice cream and you ran out? Honestly disappointed on many levels. Wasted a trip out here for sure.

Been going to this DQ since I was a child, I always used to have an amazing experience here. However, lately, the service has gone downhill. It seems as though the individuals that work the drive through never listen to what is said. I got 3 meals today and everything was completely wrong (what I ordered: 2 cheeseburgers without mustard, 1 plain hamburger without anything on it). This is not the first time I have had this happen. I did not go during a busy time.

3rd time I spent 15 minutes in line just to walk away because it’s just hopeless. The line hasn’t moved at all, the girl at the register is clearly new and all by herself. It took her 5 minutes to make one Sundae.

Found a small red deepfried string in my fries, glad I didn’t eat it. Pretty gross though especially after hearing about micro plastics staying in our bodies. I probably won’t eat fast food again that why I rated two stars. Keep your eyes peeled everyone!
