Sat at this DQ drive thru for 5 minutes. Then drive to the window where we sat till a lady server opened the wi Dow and yelled out that the drive thru was closed. We said put a sign out then and she said : you have to come inside. We tried going in but the food handlers were arguing. We drove away. Three more cars were at the drive thru.

I have visited this location several times over the past two years, thinking the quality and efficiency will improve. However, every time I stop I’ve waited over 15 minutes in the drive through, cold food, or incorrect/missing item. I would NOT recommend this Dairy Queen.

If I could give negative stars I would, we waited in the drive-through for over 20 minutes cars kept driving away before even getting to the order sign. The lady was helping one single customer at a time and told us when we finally got to order , thet at she would take our order when she could it would be a while we ended up driving away after sitting at the sign for 10 minutes and her not wanting to take our order. This DQ needs to get there act together or I see it going under quickly. Terrible service.

We waited in line for no less than 10 minutes and we used a coupon which somehow didn’t go through in the system. It was a Bogo deal so we ended up paying double what we should’ve, and the employee lied, saying he was the manager, even though he had only been working there for a month and a half, which is what he told us. When we asked him for some form of compensation for screwing it up, he said “oh fuck” and that there was nothing he could do even when we asked for a coupon or a voucher and when I asked if there was anything else he could do, he told us he would go get his manager. Like what? He just told us he was the manager. He came back a couple minutes later, and again told us there was nothing he could do. I have never had this bad of an encounter at any restaurant not to mention the fact they took extra money and wouldn’t help us after the fact, if I could rate it zero stars, I would. Isn’t that legitimately stealing?

We stopped here because of non-dairy options on their menu. They messed up all 3 of the items we ordered….we got a chicken tender basket without toast, cheeseburger instead of the hamburger that was ordered (for someone that is non-dairy). When we went to get replacement it had a bun, a few pickles and a patty….no ketchup or mustard. We ordered a kids meal with apple sauce and got fries. Not to mention the long wait! We were in the drive thru for 15 minutes.

The food was as expected for fast food but what was impressive was the staff who worked hard to take care of everyone in as timely a fashion as possible. It was the weekend, the store was very busy, and it was lunchtime. They were outstanding.

I honestly really want to be able to support and promote local businesses, but dang. Every time we order something from this Dairy Queen there is some issue with the order, or the service. Most of the time as long as they are open when they are suppose to be and eventually come to the speaker … its whatever. But tonight we ordered 4 Blizzards…. all came out drippy and thin, they were given in the wrong sizes and instead of the Turrle Blizzard, it was just a Blizzard cup with vanilla ice cream.

When we arrived there was only one person ahead of us in the drive through. We waited 5 minutes before they took that person’s order. After 15 more minutes of waiting they hadn’t tried to take our order so we left.

Today we stopped in this DQ on our way to North Mn and honestly I wish I’d have read the reviews before stopping here. ABSOLUTE nightmare! Our server was called Gillian and had a super bad attitude. She was making faces as I was ordering and then just slid my blizzard on the counter while giving it to me. When I asked why she served it like that instead of giving it to me upside down (SINCE THATS THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF THE BLIZZARD!!) and asked for the free blizzard coupon that they advertise (FALSE ADVERTISEMENT by the way), she said “I guess I’d have to give you one”. I then asked for the coupon, since she even admitted to having not given it to me properly, and then she said “I don’t have coupons”. Then asked for the blizzard itself as compensation and she yelled at me “I CANNOT GIVE IT TO YOU AND I WON’T GIVE YOU A COUPON BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE ANY”. I then asked for her name and she said “my name is Gillian and you can even talk to my manager because I don’t care, tomorrow is my last day here”. What an attitude! Honestly the whole concept of offering a free blizzard for serving it badly and still not giving it to you is just wrong. Never going to repeat like this.
