If I could rate less, I would. This rating is for the customer service. We ordered a meal with a slushy. After getting our food, we had to remind them we were waiting on a slushy. Eventually they came back and said the machine was broke. We said it was ok and then they just stared at us blankly expecting us to pull away. We then told them that we had already paid and requested a refund and that’s why we hadn’t left yet. They seemed offended that we asked for our money back on something we were told we weren’t getting. After a very long wait, they finally came back to the window and gave us the slushy instead of the refund. Was it that hard to just refund? I thought it was broken? The slushy itself is not drinkable. There is tons of gunk in it that does not belong. I’m really disappointed in the service we received and we likely will not return there after this. Do better DQ. Do…better.

Stopped as I traveled through for work on 8/3. A blizzard sounded good. I waited at the counter several minutes as a line formed behind me. 3 employees looked from behind machinery in the back near drive thru and quickly went back behind. Another employee came to the counter with a to go order. He looked at the line forming then went to the back with other employees. No one offered a greeting, no one even acknowledged people waiting at the counter. I know things get busy and may take a few mins, but rudeness is never acceptable. I decided to go elsewhere for my treat.

Dairy queen seems to have a decent selection of lunch and dinner foods (not just ice cream) but can be fairly slow at times that business is heavy. I feel the prices are more than fair and generally a little cheaper than most other fast food places in Gaylord as well. They have excellent malts, I highly recommend them if you’re into that sort of ice cream!

Man where do I start, the younger boy who looks like he’s an actual child acts how he looks. Customer service is rude and he was constantly rolling his eyes and horse playing with associates while my friend and I were waiting for our food. The tables are gross and the pop machine is also very un clean. Instead of calling out order numbers they just said the name of the food in the order which had me and my friend confused cause the other customers also had the same food order as us. The food was good just seeing them dip the ice cream with no gloves on made me uneasy especially with how much the associates were rubbing their faces. Atmosphere broke my mood the Starbucks and Family faire look so nice then there is this DQ just there and gross. Maybe try hiring proud workers and not just some random kids you can easily over work. Customer service really ruined my mood from the start and I was upset during my whole meal along with my friend, why are your associates so miserable that they treat us like garbage from first impression? Can’t wait for the copy and pasted answer and to get non human robot response on this but the community and tourist should know this is not a good place to sit and eat. Thank you for your time 🙂

Worst customer service ever! The young lady at the front register was nothing but a snotty wench. She was excessively rude to every customer She delt with. I won’t go-to this location ever again and I will advise others to avoid as well. A guest Thanked her and she turned away and went to her buddies in the back and talked about him so loudly we heard what she had to say including him. Pretty sure she was talking with the supervisor/manager. No hope!

These employees could mess up a wet dream… everything I ordered was wrong. My blizzard was liquid, Happens evey time. Place is trash… if you want good ice cream go to whippy dip in Vanderbilt. I’ll never be going to dq again.

I’ve been eating DQ since my grandpa used to take me there in the early 80’s. One of the most underrated burgers. Way better than McDonald’s, Wendy’s, etc. The Gaylord location has never done me wrong.

They had very stinky garbage sitting out in the lobby of the restaurant. The food was good but the person that gave me my order argued with me about whether I ordered a drink or not. My Reciept said I paid for one and I showed him but he proceeded to argue until one of his coworkers pointed out the Reciept they had on their end.

The rudest employees I have ever encountered. If they make what you ordered wrong be prepare to be treated horribly. Also they enjoy throwing it back at you and storming off once they fixed it. So rude and disrespectful.
