would NOT recommend ordering decorated cakes here. I ordered this cake online with ample notice (ordered April 18 to be picked up on April 27). I requested blue frosting and the writing shown below. When I got there to pick up the cake, it was not decorated. Then, after about 5 minutes they came out and said they didn’t have enough blue frosting to decorate it, only green. Very frustrating as they should’ve known because they had enough advance notice. Then, they finally bring it out and it looks like this. I could’ve done a better job decorating it myself. Do not offer to decorate cakes if you are unable to do so nicely. Very frustrating to pay money for a cake and it not turn out nicely.

*two updates below* Ordered 4 blizzards and a shake. The blizzards were 3/4s full. They were also slushy and not at all like a blizzard. They didn’t turn them upside down but I’m not that guy who’s going to say anything about that – except when I got in the car I wish they had because they weren’t good. Super skimpy on the topping/ingredients. Way less than other DQs. One of the shakes was the turtle with nuts instead of heath.

I took my grandson there for lunch today and while the food was very good, the service was better. The young man who was taking orders and running around doing a little bit of everything was extremely pleasant and efficient.

I asked for my receipt, and the young boy in the drive-thru window just sat there staring at me as if he was upset that I had asked. I didn’t get his name, but he had tattoos on his forearms, hair down, and was not very hygienic; at least not for food service. DQ, please train your employees (mostly for their safety). This situation could have easily gotten ugly. The staff seemed to be high school kids who could care less about customer service. The managers obviously don’t care either. My blizzard was also watery. On another visit, the young girl gave me watery blizzard. Asked her if she could remake it, and she said I would have to speak with her manager. Aren’t they supposed to turn it upside down to show you how thick it is and that it won’t fall to the ground. That won’t happen if it’s runny! If I could give something less than one star, I would!

We ordered in the restaurant. It was very hard to understand the girl taking our order. They didn’t give us the cone with the kids meal meal. I thought that it was in a plastic container or something in the bag but when we got home it wasn’t in there. Every time I go there they need up my order in some way.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by all of the employees that were working which is always nice because half the time you go anywhere they don’t even realize you walked in. It was very very clean, I didn’t see one employee that was just standing there aimlessly, they were all working doing something of some sort. I ordered my food and the person that took my order repeated it back to me made sure it was correct, how to smile on his face the whole time! Then offered to bring me my food whenever it was ready, which he did And asked me if there was anything else that I needed. It was very nice to go somewhere and have employees actually make sure that you’re taken care of! I definitely would recommend this Dairy Queen!
