Love their ice cream but quite often (as in this store) their chocolate machine is broken and their comment if that we can add chocolate syrup but the only reason we go there is to get the chocolate twist cone which they cannot make if the chocolate machine is broken. Very sad. The number of daily queens we have walked out of empty handed.

Placed mobile order. Waited 20 minutes for it once we arrived. The restaurant seemed to be run completely by incompetent teenagers ( not sure they even had a manager on duty). All customers waiting in lobby seemed upset. Witnessed one of the storm out after a confrontation with one of the workers. When we got home our order must have been someone else’s because nothing we ordered was in the bag except some fries. Please shut down until you can find a competent staff and a manager than can facilitate an orderly restaurant

I like it because its close. but everytime i get my blizard its melted and they seem to not have enough machines to make more that one at a time. You can sit in the drve theough for 30 minutes. More than once they couldnt give me my rewwardas points because the scanner was broken for months on end.The employees seem unhappy as well. idk if ill be going anymore after this recent incedent that happened with the owner screaming at the top of her lungs at a minor employee with a restaurant full of kids i walked in and it was packed. I heard that and turned right around and left without placing an order. It was disappointing,disturbingnand down right cruel.

This Dairy Queen on Village Lake is horrible! I’ve had the same rude girl several times now. She doesn’t say hello and ignores you, when you say hello. She doesn’t say thank you and just looks at you, when you say thank you. No reply, smile or anything. What happen to common courtesy?? They also mess up my order a lot or forget some of my order. I’ve had to go back multiple times to get it corrected.This last time, they not only messed up my order again, but I also noticed a 50% increase in prices. My combo meal used to be over $8.00, and now with their price increase, it is over $12.00! I understand raising prices because of inflation, but 50% increase is ridiculous! Dairy Queen off of University Blvd, the one I go to now, only increased their prices around $1.00. Their employees are nice, polite and they get my order right. I hope customers will stop going and supporting this money greedy Dairy Queen off of Village Lake. Maybe, if they lose enough business, they will start giving better customer service, stop messing up orders, and lower their prices to be competitive with other Dairy Queens!!

Very bad customer service. We ordered take out and found out missing fries and dressing on salad… next day, came back with new order and told them about the missing fries… was told cannot give fries because i did not call…really???… but i am here physically and with my receipt that is less than 24hrs old!!! You think I am going to scam your for a $3 fries? And now its my inconvenience to call for your mistake!!! Canceled new order and never going back to this store! For $3??? Really???

Was in this Dairy Queen earlier today and witnessed Donna screaming at a young employee. So much the employee had to run away from her. She berated the entire staff with a restaurant full of customers as well. This is not the way to treat your employees. The entire staff should walk out of there and the customers should choose a different ice cream place to spend their money. I will never bring my family back here. Other people in the store also called corporate and some lodged formal complaints. Unacceptable behavior of management

Went in with the grand kids and ordered off the $5 menu along with some different ice Cream things. My husband wanted the chili dog without the chili… he won’t eat it. He was told they couldn’t do it. They don’t make substitutions. Why is it so difficult to just not put the chili on the hot dog! Ridiculous!! Plus it took forever to get our food. They are very unorganized sending out the ice cream before the food. The manager was beyond rude.

We waited 40minutes for three ice creams last night. We arrived at 7:36pm and didn’t leave until 8:16pm. The restaurant was a COMPLETE disaster with employees not knowing what to do and lack of organization caused ALOT of irritation amongst guests. We also witnessed the Mgr appear out of nowhere and ask a Uber driver to leave or she was calling the Authorities (apparently we missed what had happened prior to us arriving), then we never saw the Mgr again, all the while a lobby filled with upset guests with the LONG wait times. All three of our ice creams came at different times, my Husbands was the first (after sitting in the window for 5min melting) at 8:06pm, my Daughters came next at 8:16, then I had to ask where mine was of which they made on the “fly”. So needless to say, our family ice cream trip was a DISASTER. My Husband was done with his treat before my Daughter or I even got ours.

Not even worth a star yet it was the only way to leave a review. Nasty, lazy staff. Customer service is non existent. Three times and they are out! Will not be returning. Third time in while it was pouring rain. I asked for a plastic bag to put my order in and they refused. Unbelievable. I have spoken with others that live in the area and they prefer to drive miles away than to visit this location.
