This place is slow and disorganized , we went there around 3 pm and ended up there well over 30 min after having to call out the fact that our order was totally forgotten about and after over 20 min . After they realized this they just started making the order after the manager had no idea how to give us a refund that we requested because ” she has never given a refund” no apologies, nothing to try to make us happier to make up for the mistake, just a remark from the manager that I shouldn’t be rolling my eyes after waiting 20 min for an order that wasn’t even started and I almost didn’t make it to an important appointment shortly after . My son was told to not come back though for complaining. The manager here needs to be replaced . She doesn’t know how to run a restaurant or even give a refund or how to treat her customers so the situation escalated . That’s fine , we won’t be back anyway . My God ..what a way to treat loyal customers that have tolerated your poor customer service for too long and finally decided to speak up. The wait time is always ridiculous but this one took the cake .

First time in this Dairy Queen; had grandson with us. As it is often this day and time, they were shorthanded. We had to wait a bit before placing our order but they bring your order to your table. And if you’re getting ice cream and a meal, they ask if you’d like to wait for your ice cream to eat after your meal, which is great. The chicken tenders are good, the French fries and onion rings are great. Employees are very nice and their ice cream is awesome!

Haven’t been to a Dairy Queen in quite some time but we recently met my parents at the Asheboro NC location and it was ok. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, service was fast and food (ice cream) was good. The restrooms on the other hand….needed cleaning, no toilet paper and no paper towels. Had to leave my 5 year old in the single restroom to go get napkins. Advised the workers and then nothing was done. We made several additional trips and each time the toilet paper hadnt been replaced. Trash cans were empty and so was the tp….as an overall experience, I would go back but with lowered expectations.

Both my wife and I enjoy Dairy Queen. On my way home from work; Sanford, NC to Lexington,NC, I on occasion stop at the Asheboro DQ. I usually order a large Blizzard, Which ends up costing me $7.00. I received my Heath Blizzard and ice cream was 2 in. below the top of the cup. I stuck my spoon in to stir the inside of the cup to scrape the excess chocolate into the ice cream. Othe DT I startstirring the ice cream; the ice cream went further down into the cup as if there were air pockets. I ended up having a little more than a half of a large blizzard for$7.00. . I’m not joking. I had already driven away from the DT. I was upset. I ate the blizzard. When I ate half of what I had I ended with vanilla ice cream on the bottom with a piece of heath. Train your people. Follow DQ S.O.P. Take care of your customers. I just wanted the ice cream that I purchased. I already paid $7.00. I knew the cost. I just expected what purchased.

Bought a small chocolate cone today for a treat. It was no bigger than the kiddie cone my partner ordered. But worst of all, the quality has diminished so badly. The ice cream is no longer smooth and creamy, but it is gritty with ice crystals. The top of my cone was all broken up like it had been chewed off. I couldn’t even relish eating the rest of it. I won’t be going back.

As much as I want to rate this location 5 stars I just can’t. The servers have always been helpful, but the drive thru process is a joke. I have never gone through the line and actually received my order at the window. Today, it took 15 min to get a mini blizzard and to make matters worse, they handed it to me melted (see pic). Disappointed is an understatement.
