We have been to this DQ many times and lately it has really gotten its act together. We go there and there were 15 people in front of us. We figured gonna be a half hour wait, nope, we were in and out in under 15 minutes. Cudos to the people working there. And as always, the ice cream was great!

Everytime I come here, I’m always treated with kindness and respect. Listening to the gentleman take care of the customer in front of me already made me feel welcome to be next to order. Usually love this dairy queen. We must’ve been there on a training day or something. The blizzards were hardly mixed together, the line was almost out the door (it wasn’t insanely busy, maybe moderately busy). Our ticket was missed or skipped or something, but we just ordered 3 blizzards. Probably a 20 min wait for the 3 blizzards. Also the setup is confusing. The pickup area is right by where people walk in, so it’s confusing for people who are just walking in to know where to get in line because so many people are waiting for their orders. Staff was still nice and polite, just slow.

They made my birthday the best day. Their power was out and they closed. This was sad for me as ice cream cake is my birthday treat every year. I said “oh man I just wanted a cake” , the manager heard this and invited me in and told me that he had one. They only had peanut butter cup which I could not have because of peanut allergies, they made me a cake fresh to make sure I could have my birthday treat.

Super packed with a long line on and off because it was free cone day. Got thru the line fast and then our food order was up quick. We got our food fresh, hot, and fast. Got fries instead of cheese curds as requested, got my curds super quick and got to keep the fries. Their machine went offline for credit while we were still eating so they ran around and made sure everyone in line got their free cones while they were trying to get back online. Then they checked with anyone still in the store if they wanted another while they were waiting to get other stuff that they needed credit machines for. Staff was friendly and hustled. Place was really clean despite them being super busy due to the free cone day. Super impressed!

We ordered ice cream and when we left our car wouldn’t start. More than one employee came out to help us. I tried to give them a tip and they refused it saying no they just wanted to help. They let us use their tools and were super helpful and friendly. I shared this info with my daughter that lives in Ypsilanti and she was not surprised. She said the owners and employees are always super kind at that DQ! Thank you Ypsilanti DQ!!
