Incredible Japanese food and drink in a beautiful setting. The ambient noise from other tables’ conversations was a bit loud, as we were on the patio. Overall the ambience was very nice, service was excellent and food was delicious.

Good sushi dinner tucked away on Cal Ave. We especially enjoyed the two special fishes; the mackerel was well marinated in a vinegar to lessen the intensity of the fish flavor and the white fish was delicate and firm in texture. The nigiri in the dinner set were pretty basic, I felt the price was quite high for one piece per order as opposed to two. Fish to rice ratio on the lower side, personally I prefer higher. I’d probably skip the appetizers and sets next time.

Daigo is such an amazing place! The sushi is so delicious! Everything is super fresh. We simply could not stop ordering, and everything was so incredibly delicious. You do have to make a reservation though. They do not take walk-ins, the place is small with limited seating.

A curious sushi spot tucked in an alleyway in Palo Alto. Delicious sushi and great sake selections . My favorite is the sweet uni from Japan that melts in your mouth. They don’t have a website but they are reachable via phone or chat for reservations. Very friendly staff. Also green tea ice cream is a must try.
