This is my favorite shop in H Mart food hall. They have good quality of traditional Korean Beef Rib Soup and Bone Soup. First time ordered beef rib soup noodle and noodle it’s chewy and taste better than ramen. Soup base has beef bone aroma too. Highly recommended

Just as good as the SF and San Mateo locations without the waits and restaurant surcharges. Always love coming here before a grocery run at hmart 🙂

My sister said the last time she ordered the beef soup, it was like the broth in the bowl was hiding among the slices of meat and noodles. But this time around when I went with her, she noticed that the meat was drowning in broth that you have to dig deep to reach for the meat and noodles Our orders were really hot that I almost burned my tongue but they were sooo good that we had to share the dishes between the two of us.

The best beef you’ll get anywhere in town. Their seafood beef soup was so tasty that we always get it. And their Kalbijjim with cheese is not only a treat to your stomach, but a treat to your eye too. We used to go to their Japantown location all the time, but we are so glad they open this second location in Ocean View.

Stopped in to order the infamous kalbijim. Decided to get the kalbijim with oxtail (medium spicy level), extra meat, noodles, rice cake, and purple rice. It was kinda pricey but it was a hefty portion (felt like about 10 lbs). It normally feeds 3-4 people according to the staff. It came with some boncon, kimchee, green onion kimchee, and radish kimchee. The short ribs were extremely tender and flavorful. The oxtail was also tender but not as flavorful as the short ribs. So 2 of us shared this and we still had enough for basically 3 more servings. So in actuality price was ok. My mom tried it and she liked it and asked where we bought it from. Overall good food, and while I like oxtail I think next time I’ll just get the short ribs.

Very tasty beef ribs, rice is good, but I don’t like kimchi.

I loved this place. I met up with friends for lunch. I knew I was going here for their kalbi jjim. My other ground go an order of fried chicken from another restaurant. The 5 of us ate and ate, but I still ended up taking a big container home. I love it with the rice cake and cheese.

Did a takeout order of their kalbijjim for dinner. The stew comes with two bowls of rice (choice of white or purple) and some kimchi (radish, cabbage and green onions). The stew itself is large, but very heavy on starch – rice cakes, carrots and potatoes. We didn’t find the short ribs to be very substantial, and surprisingly they were not that tender. The overall flavor was also a bit too sweet. Overall, $75 is a VERY steep ask – basically double what I thought the dish was actually worth.
