Very friendly workers that take your orders. The food was nice and fresh when it was brought to the table. I had chicken nuggets and fried chips. My boyfriend had an Italian beef sandwich with fries. The only thing that would have made it better would have been some melted cheese on it. The server had a big smile when he brought the food out and they made me a delicious root beer float with two scoops of ice cream. Christian music played in the background and there are many Christian paintings and pictures to look at while you eat.

They say God works in mysterious ways and God certainly led my church group to Dad’s Place in different ways. What drew me in was a sign on the road that said “Chicago food. Christian music.” The others in my group had a flyer for Dad’s Place at their Air B&B that peaked their interest. Together we decided to spend our Saturday night at Dad’s Place. We loved the vibe! Service was good, food decent, but best of all we were blessed with meeting this Christian family who shared their musical talents with us. We would certainly come back if we are ever in this area again! Thank you Paul, CeCe, and Brooke! God bless!!

I just finished my meal. I ordered it as take out on a sat late afternoon. I did not know what to expect and ordered two plain hamburgers and a plain hotdog. To say I was pleasantly suprised would be an understatement. The food was great and portions were a good size. Price wasn’t bad either. The buisness looked clean staff were friendly and got my order correct. The decor is Christian so if that’s a trigger, this might be an issue for you. Howevwr the staff did not preachh or give me a sermon. I plan on going back in the future for more great food. I’m glad I took a chance and ate there. Now I have a new place to eat.

What a awesome little place. I have drove thru that area on so many trips to Kentucky lake and have never stopped. The food was great and staff was super friendly. They have live Christian music on certain nights. We will definitely go here again and will try and hit a night where they are playing live music. Oh and there ice cream may have been some of the best I’ve ever had.
