The catfish came out hot and they were nice thick pieces, had great flavor and was cooked perfect. The fries and okra came out cold. The ribs were bigger than expected and they had the best flavor. The smoke was thick and flavorful. The spicy bbq sauce was better than the regular.

Average. I was really looking forward to this as I love bbq joints. Catfish po boy was decent but the cole slaw on it wasn’t great. Cat fish was cooked great. The slaw was the problem. Too much onion. Not a lot of flavor. The pulled pork was ok but nothing to scream about. Service was not so great. We got there late and they made us feel like they could care less we were there and wanted us to leave. Won’t go back. Can’t hang with great bbq.

We drive 25 miles to eat here. There are closer places to eat, fancier places but nothing that tastes this good. My husband LOVES his bbq and is very picky. They do have another restaurant closer to us but it is just not the same. We tried the other location twice and just can’t do it. This is a must try!

I was in town for a quick overnight stay and found this gem!!! Killer food, killer customer service, killer atmosphere! The people were so friendly and the food was everything you want in a BBQ joint!! If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and pay them a visit!

Stopped on the way through town. They had their loaded baked potato as the daily special, so I jumped at it. Fantastic meal and it’s huge, big enough to split with your date. Well worth stopping for!

Started with a Google search for lunch today. I ordered a Sliced Beef sandwich and fries. The brisket was outstanding and hand cut fries were great too. Looks like a family owned business and everyone was super friendly to me. I will definitely be back to try the baked potato. I seen other customers had ordered that and looked great. Portions were great. Price too

Small business in strip mall I’m downtown. Good was good, service was friendly. Ribs fell right off the bone. Potato salad is somewhat sweet like using sweet pickles. The beans were kinda like canned beans, but I put bbq sauce in them and they were so good after.

Maybe I’m spoiled to actual good food, I’ve traveled a bit and have a lot of experience with food. I ordered the sliced beef with smoked chicken on a baked potato, they brought the food out less than 5 mins later after the order was placed it was all cold, I asked the waitress why it was cold and she told me it shouldn’t be and that they had just cooked it, I said there’s no way this was just cooked, and I mean it was ice cold, I never took a bite and returned it and just got a refund. If you want an actual good barbecue experience don’t come to okmulgee.
