I came here because it was recommended by the a pamphlet produced by the International District and a health inspector that I know personally. I was hesitant, as both their track record was pretty bad. Extremely wary of this, I had low expectations of this place.

I’ve followed these folks around Chinatown since I was probably in high school when they were located further east. The roasts are hit or miss by day. We’ve had excellent roast pigs with crunchy skin, moist meat and just the right amount of fat and then there are times where I was swear the skin is a dried piece of leather and the meat is dry.

My family loves coming here to pick up roasted pork and roasted duck! The roasted pork is my fav, especially the crispy skin! Best part I tell ya. They give you the option to choose if you want the Gary pieces of roasted pork or the meaty side. I got a mixture of both. True roasted duck was nice and plump! But for someone reason it was a bit tough to me. And I asked for the original roasted duck but think they gave me the special one where it had wood eat mushrooms in the marinade sauce. Regardless of the mess up, both dishes were delish.

This is a small restaurant that makes awesome To-Go food. The Vietnamese style duck here is absolutely awesome. Overall the pieces were succulent and Full of flavor. They also had a rather crispy looking pig hanging in the window that looked amazing. The people were nice and very sincere. I wasn’t sure what to order and they helped me out a lot.

Watch when the old man cuts for you he isn’t fair with the portions I spent money there as a regular …..the older guy cheated me a couple times I let slide and didn’t say anything …..but definitely have to watch or say something he will take advantage of he thinks your slow or don’t understand….the son is fair

I picked up some roast pork here. AMAZING!!!! The skin was crunchy and most of the fat had been roasted away from the meat. Tasty and juicy!

I bought haft a pound of roasted pig yesterday, not a single roasted pig cut into pieces, just a half pound of the leftover from the previous cuts. I can only pick one third to eat, and throw away the rest. I will never go to this restaurant again in my life. I will also tell my friends and family about my bad experience.
