Absolutely amazing, one of the top Italian places in the city for sure. I’ve been here twice in the past month and has booked my next reservation already. If you want to show your friends what a top restaurant in nyc is like, you should bring them here.

I don’t understand why it is so overrated. Food is bad, extremely salty “Italian sauce” (an insult to any Italian), food is not what I expect according to the high prices. Actually, there are ridiculous prices for this place. Service horrendous and they don’t care if you like the food or not. And on top they ask you to pass the dirty dishes. The 2 hostess dressed like they were going to play around the corner basketball, totally inappropriate. It’s the first time, after going places around the world, that I feel really upset giving a tip. Neither the service nor the food are worth it. On top of that, they set the hours reservation and a credit card… they have the nerve!!

It was a really nice place for a date night. I went with friends but definitely would come back on a date night due to the ambiance. It was pretty busy but a good place to try if you loveeee pasta. Good drinks and fun. Make a reservation for sure and it’s def cute.

Probably the best Italian food I’ve had. The service was great too. We ordered the branzino, focaccia, bolognese, and roasted oysters

Wonderful, intimate-feeling neighborhood restaurant featuring a wide array of very creative yet authentic Italian dishes: exceptional pastas but also remarkable appetizers and mains. Aside from the pastas, other standouts include the fresh focaccia, the octopus carpaccio, and the crispy skin branzino.

What a beautiful and positive atmosphere. I have never met nicer people who are open to meet your needs. I have never been to a place quite like this. The hostesses are helpful and sweet, the waitresses go above and beyond for all their customers, and the food is just icing on the cake to aid in the experience at this place. If you want a great experience, come to this restaurant. The food is beyond anything I’ve ever tried before, and the service beats anything in NYC. The ambiance is just wonderful and Da Toscano deserves nothing but success for the service they provide.

I came alone since I was visiting from Chicago and the staff did a great job of making me feel welcome. Besides the exceptional service, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! I originally heard of this place through TikTok and I was not dissapointed. They even gave me a drink on the house! I will definitely be back next time I visit New York!

This place is a treasure honestly. Better than all the hyped restaurants combined. Everything was so delicious. This place is very unassuming. We came with a larger group and basically tried to order the whole menu. Must gets: orechiette, linguine, pb&j bomboloni, oysters.
